Danger to Patients
If I could give Dr. Fehr zero stars I would. She is a danger to patients. To explain. My daughter is 27 years old who has had epilepsy since she was 7 and was cared for by the wonderful, Dr. Ann Bergin, at Children’s Hospital Boston. Her seizures were so often and so many that she had brain surgery at 13 to try and remove the seizure area. It lessened the seizures so that she could finally participate in daily life but it did not cure them. She has been on a combined set of medications that has lessened her seizures. Fast forward to the present, she grew out pediatrics so we sought a neurologist closer to her home. We chose Dr. Fehr. Due to her losing a large piece of her right frontal lobe she has executive functioning issues. She wants to have her own place so she lives in residential housing with caretakers. She recently moved to a new residential home and Dr Fehr has decided my daughters seizures are Pseudo seizures and informed the staff. Now they think she is faking everyth

Great Experience
I went to her when my migraine treatment was failing and she got me on a new med that worked great. The (known and explained) side effects of that got too annoying after a year and she switched me to another new med that is working great. She even went to bat against my insurance to get it covered because it’s expensive and it was only recently approved for migraine prevention. I had a great experience.

Misdiagnosis caused much suffering
I feel much better now that I see the other reviews. Two years ago I was in an accident where I was exposed to toxic chemicals. The chemicals injured my nervous system and caused a litany of complex symptoms. I suffered from full-body neuropathy, a severe sleep disorder, and heart rate irregularity amongst other problems. I went to her in the hopes I would be diagnosed and treated. She began the conversation with me with a pre-conceived opinion and (I felt) was arrogant, unsympathetic, and dismissive. Unfortunately I was suffering so much I was incredulous she was treating me in this way. She dismissed everything as "anxiety." I realize this was a very strange and idiosyncratic accident I was in (chemicals), but as a neurologist you have to realize injuries like this happen. You cannot treat your patients like this. You must be a scientist and cannot have this level of hubris. Finally I did receive proper care (but I had to go to another specialist).

Overall the office visit was very good. The staff their are friendly and very willing to help. Dr. Fehr was great and she explained my condition in a way I could understand and put me at ease. The only downside was that when I checked in she was behind scheduled. In her defense it was later in the day and she does spend a good amount of time with her patients (which is good to know)

This woman almost killed my father.. NEVER GO TO THIS DR!! She misdiagnosed my dad & treated him for neuropathy "from diabetes"w massive dose of gabapentin for 5 years. My dad got worse & falling down, weak & was slowing getting paralyzed. I took him for a 2nd opinion & they gave him MRI.. His spinal cord was being pressed so badly from a disc in his neck, it's was just @ to be punctured! He had emergency surg that Monday & 2 subsequent Surg. he can walk much better but perm damage. Can't sue.

As a first time patient with Dr. Fehr, I thought I received excellent care. She listened attentively to my concerns, ask insightful questions, and explained clearly the next steps we would take to address my issues. She also made sure any questions I had were answered.

Dismissive. Lack of interest in patient. Did not review form I filled out regarding symptoms. Wanted to blame all issues on anxiety.
