Dr Lucas is very down to earth easy to talk to. He has helped me with my anxiety and depression. It was not hard making an appointment and their wasn’t a wait time to see him. I recommend anyone in need of help calling and making an appointment with Dr Lucas.

My son, an Emergency Room Doctor, has highly recommended Dr. Lucas to myself and a couple of family members all with excellent results. I see reviews related to wait time and cancellations. Please realize how rare it is to find a psychiatrist who has an individualized plan for each patient. He can, in a very short time, realize the nature and illness of the patient and knows which medications will most likely work. His knowledge of pharmacology is on a genius level. Andi gets back ASAP.

They make you wait 3 hours past appt time, then won’t refund copay but will apply to next visit. Next visit, hour & 45 mins past appt time before I give up. They put you on high doses of meds & won’t refill unless you see them in person. But you can’t see them in person bc they push you out weeks & then hours past appt times. Dangerous to stop taking these meds cold turkey but they don’t care!!! 2 trips to their office, 2 appts late, 0 times seeing dr, 0 prescription refills.

Place was a joke. I got in rather quickly, but I didn't get a good concerned vibe from Dr. Humphries. This was really just a check up, my current state of how I am doing sort of appointment. This was a new doctor for me, but I had to pick who was on my insurance and had to get a referral. I thought they would be good, since I was at Cypress Creek and Dr. Lucas was one of the doctors there (I did not seem him, but was confident his group would be just as competent and caring as Dr. Chen). Different mbrs of family have gone to Lucas. Always been disappointed w/scheduling. Trying to bring my son as new patient & had to schedule appt 2 mos in advance only to have their ofc cancelled on us twice!!!!!! Now the appt has been reset for an additional month. We are so very frustrated. Our General Practitioner is trying his best to keep our son stabilized while we wait to get into Dr. Lucas (we started this process in February and here it is in June and still haven't seen him!)

From a caregivers point of view with experience with different Psychiatrist, Dr. Lucas has been the best by far. He is a very busy person, but still takes considerable time to talk with us as caregivers.

Honestly, If it had just been the waiting room, I may have remained working with him; but all I really remember is that I had ended up in a in-patient treatment... and he was enough of a jerk about it that I was not impressed. He knows his stuff, but he has the bedside manner of a drunk chicken.

the office brags about the physician, they set you up with a psychologist. Then when I asked for the reasoning, they offer a nurse practioner or a physician assistant. I do not have a problem with psychologist, but honesty and integrity is questionable. If I see the name of so many doctors, then my expectation is to see a physician.
