Misdiagnosed Seronegative RA
For the first three visits Dr.Lorenzo sent me for imaging. On the last visit she told me there is nothing to treat osteoarthritis and suggested surgery for the RA on my rt. hand. She also suggested that my fibromyalgia water retention ! Disappointed, disgusted and dissatisfied, so I decided to call the American Arthritis Association and immediately was told that my form of arthritis is called Seronegative RA. She should have her license revoked!

This will be the 1st time writing a review for any doctor but I feel compelled to share my wonderful experience with Dr. Lorenzo. Too many times I've experienced doctors not listening enough of the patient's concerns or not asking enough questions before making their recommendations. My experience with Dr. Lorenzo was completely the opposite. She listened and then listened more and asked more questions and when I couldn't think of any more questions/concerns, she referenced a prior test result I had in the past that prompted me to ask more questions further validating her genuine care for her patient. I'd highly recommend her for anyone!

I have a mutation for a very rare immune disorder that was just discovered in 2014 - there very few doctors who have even heard of it. I've been shuffled and passed from doctor to doctor to doctor for more than 2 years. My hair is falling out for the second time. Organ function slowly declining. And two young boys to take care of. I am TIRED. So I emailed ahead of time to make sure she would accept me as a patient. I thought either 1. she would be intrigued to learn about something new or 2. she would be courteous enough to respond and let me know I should find an expert (I also have IgG deficiency; just started IVIG). Her assistant emailed and said I should make an appt. Took the day off for the appt. But she had no idea why I was there. It was clear she never read my email at all. I got the same old run around - "I can't help you with this because I've never heard of it". Um, yeah, I know. No one has because it's NEW! Oh...and she couldn't remember what IVIG stands for!
