Dr. Marlene Kalouyan, MD

Wonderful, caring, smart, professional.

Dr. Kalouyan is the best of the bests. I love her. She gives patients time, listens, is very comforting and she is not in a hurry to see the next patient for the sake of making more business before she finishes seeing her current patients thoroughly. Dr. Kalouyan genuinely cares for her patients. She is a rare gem. If you tell her about a pain or a discomfort, then she talks and advices how to alleviate the pain and not simply say, oh it is very common! She is knowledgeable and has such a confident and a calm personality, which is very reassuring. I can go on writing all good things about her and yet words would not be enough. In short, I am very happy to have discovered her and I highly recommend her.

Dr kalouyan is phenomenal. She's warm, knowledgeable, evidence-based, and reassuring. She's super responsive to her patients and treats you as if you're her only patient!! She spends time at each appointment and I have never felt rushed. I love her and her office staff! They are wonderful!!

Dr. Kalouyan is absolutely amazing! As a Nurse myself, I am very skeptical of doctors, however I actually looked forward to my appointments with her. She is very educated and kind and always takes time to answer any and all questions I had during my pregnancy. She was a rockstar in my somewhat complicated delivery and is always available via text on her personal cell, which was a relief. I can’t recommend her enough and am looking forward to my next pregnancy so I can see her again! 5 ??

Highly inconsiderate doctor. Left me and 2 other patients waiting for close to 2 hours. No emergency or reason. Apparently she does it all the time

Do not trust this Doctor! During my annual exam last spring (2018) I pointed out a lump in my breast. Dr. K dismissed my concern, citing a recent mammogram that was normal, and said the lump (which she felt and made note of) was dense tissue. By fall, the lump was noticeably larger. I called her office and begged for an appointment asap. They made me wait 2 weeks. I finally went in and requested an ultrasound. Dr. Kalouyan tried to talk me out of having an ultrasound! She kept saying that she didn't know if my insurance would cover it. I finally had the ultrasound a week later, which revealed a mass. A biopsy confirmed cancer. I had a lump of over 3 cm removed. After 6 mo. of treatment my prognosis is good but she delayed my treatment by months that could have cost me my life. I have confirmed with many other practitioners that Dr. Kalouyan did not follow best practices,which would have been to immediately send me for an ultrasound. She failed me and I am still traumatized.

Can't say enough good things about Dr. Kalouyan! She delivered my girl 6 months ago. This was my first pregnancy and she was my third doctor. I was not hesitating to switch until I find the right fit. Dr. Kalouyan She was amazing and so supportive during my pregnancy. And still is. She was very open to a birth plan and discussed all the questions and worries I had. Having her in that delivery room made me feel so safe and empowered! I will be always thankful to her!

I was extremely impressed with Dr. Kalouyan every time I visited. She couldn't be more caring or understanding and was extremely comprehensive regarding all the possible solutions to my issues. How rare in the current world of medicine!

I waited over an hour and a half to be seen. My appointment was at 10:30. Got there at 10:20 and walked out at 12:10 and still no doctor. Very unprofessional. A complete waste of my morning. They kept saying we don't have enough rooms. Really? What kind of an operation are you running. Did not see the doctor, so can't say much about her, but as far as wait time and office management, very very poor.

As nervous as one can be about being pregnant and the road ahead until meeting baby, Dr. Kalouyan made everything perfect. She listens, explains and prepares you for every step with a smile and reassurance that made the my whole experience amazing. I would recommend her to anyone!

She botched my hysterectomy causing a 14 day stay in the hospital with a bowel resection.
