My granddaughter is a patient in this office. She has recently been getting sick from what we believe is an allergic reaction to certain foods. An allergy test was recommended. My granddaughter has Blue Care Network and requires a referral from her PCP. A referral was issued but for the wrong procedure code. The allergist's office and my daughter tried to call the office to get this corrected and could never get an answer over the phone or no one would answer the phone. My daughter went to the office in person regarding this matter and came across 3 employees that appeared to be on a break. One of the employees literally had her feet up on the desk at the front desk. Relaxing at work is nice when it can be done but when you have a patient that needs your assistance you should be able to contact the office with out having to physically go up there. My granddaughters allergy test had to be rescheduled and she again had another allergic reaction to something. I am outraged.

She is horrible should not a kid doctor has no patience very rude and disrespectful

Our original pediatrician is unfortunately out of town so I had the experience of seeing Dr. West for my 8 month old. Unfortunate for my son and myself. Very dismissive, does not listen to concerns, not friendly with children at all, very arrogant. She will never see my children again. She tried to tell me my son who is sick is “teething” I have 3 children and I know what teething is. Do NOT recommend letting her near your children.

Lacks tact and bedside manners with teens or pre-teens. Walked into the exam room after weighing my kids and because one of my daughters was 10lbs heavier than her chart said she should be, she very flatly just says...you're overweight and need to lose... looked at her sister and said your weight is perfect!She then told my 6ft son that he was overweight at 170 and he needs to join a sports team while proceeding to spend about 10 minutes trying to pressure him into joining one.....nice way to project your own feelings onto a child who does not care for sports.The way she addressed my daughter had profound negative effects on her self image and has caused us to battle with eating disorders, as my daughter had NO issues prior to this appointment. It's incredibly ignorant and rude considering she's carrying at least 10 extra pounds on her frame as well. She's dismissive, and tactless and I would recommend that NO ONE take their children to her unless you're aiming for mental anguish.
