Exceptional Provider
Dr. Virtue was very kind and patient explaining my procedure and talking to myself before and after the procedure. He then visited me a day after the procedure to make sure I was fully recovered. I would highly recommend him!

Lack of communication and compassion
After my surgical procedure, which showed that I have pancreatic cancer, Dr. Virtue gave me my diagnosis while I was still under the effects of anesthesia, and did not meet with my sister, who was in the surgical waiting area. I was in no condition to hear this news, and certainly not while I was alone. Dr. Virtue left the building before the nurses could get my sister back to the PACU.

Disappointed
Dr. Virtue came highly recommended, and the procedure he performed was without a complication ; however, the negative conclusion dismissing a previous diagnosis prompted a visit to a highly respected medical institution for the second opinion, where the whole procedure was deemed ‘totally inadequate’.

Gallbladder, then pancreatitis. No nutrition for 13 days. Ended up malnutrition and severe protein deficient . Even with hospitalist and hospital nutritionist telling him to do something

A previous doctor spent 1.5 hours trying to open my bio duct. Dr. Virtue preformed the second E.R.C.P. and successfully opened the duct. leaving me to leave the hospital with nothing more that a band aid on my abdomen. Avoiding a sent or drain for balance of my life. Thank you dr. Mark Virtue.
