Dr. Mark Schaaf, DO

Dr. Schaaf has been our family doctor for over 20 years. He is observant, listens well to patient concerns, communicates treatment options and recommendations and does not rush exams or interviews. He works well at recommending specialists, when required, or finding the best treatment options.

He is too busy for anyone and he doesn't take very much time with you. The office is dirty, the front desk people are rude and unhelpful. One lady was talking to a family member while people waited.

previously seeing the partner MD that retired (WE SAW AS A FAMILY WITH 7 kids for many) replacement doc quit, the staff had an office person fired, drama. I changed a tire with my broken arm (broke 3 weeks before this appt) after only being to partners office once previous never late before. Called the night before They said they had an opening with nurse practitioner (I had already met at the first appointment). The office clerk said well we are too busy and you are (she said 15) 13 min late, you will Need to reschedule, not a car in the parking lot and when called back placed me on hold forever when asking to speak to the doctor. She forgot the first time I came months prior they apologized for the nurse practitioner for being so behind. They didn’t worry about my heart just said reschedule. The doctor said if I don’t like that response I’m not the only doctor in town and not Dr Arnold). I also had brought my son to see if they could work him in autistic & severe inner ear dizzy

I love the caring in this office from the Doctor to the staff. Very glad I found him, I was on a search for a good Doctor after mine had retired it took me two years and 4 different Doctors, very happy I found him.

Dr Schaaf is wonderful! He really listens to his patients and is very down to earth and easy to talk to. We wouldn't have left, but our insurance changed and we were forced to.
