Amazing experience
Dr. Perenich and his team are all wonderful. I called the office with some questions about a surgery that was recommended by another orthopedic office and was very quickly passed over to Ashley, who answered all of my questions and calmed a lot of my fears. Dr. Perenich took his time on each visit with me and explained everything in great detail. The care and empathy given from day one all the way to surgery follow-ups has been nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend this office!

100% I would highly recommend Dr.Perenich!
Dr. Perenich was very thorough in his evaluation & explanation of my case & his diagnosis. He answered every question that my family & I had. He would bring the screen close to us, pointed out on the graph & explained in detail all that needed to be done to correct my situation. We left the appointment, satisfied & well informed & more confident in the choosing of the surgeon Dr. Perenich. Let it be known that this was my very first appt with Dr Perenich (1 yr ago). Today, I am speaking after 1 year of having my back surgery. I am happy to say-I am good as new! I no longer live in pain. I was scared & very doubtful, like so many others. I had heard the horror stories. I always said ‘I will never have back surgery’. Until I found out I wouldn’t have use of my legs & be wheelchair bound. My career has been a ballroom dance instructor & all that comes with that line of work. I couldn’t imagine my life without dance. Thanks forever to Dr Perenich-I am pain free & dancing again!

Wonderful experience
It starts with his staff as they actually listen and are compassionate. Dr. Perenich is amazing. He went over my MRI in detail and has performed several procedures helping me relieve my back pain. I would highly recommend him and his team.

Best surgeon that I’ve ever had
Every single person in that office, front the front office, to the medical assistants to Dr Perenich, is absolutely incredible. A doctor and an office I actually love to visit. He had to do a major spinal surgery revision and literally saved my mobility, decreased my pain by at least 80% of my pain, and eliminated severe nerve pain. I trust him so much that I am having him do a second surgery. In addition the epidurals he does regularly for me are painless and greatly reduce my pain .5 stars all day long

Phenomenal Physician and staff
Dr. Perenich is one of the kindest, most considerate and competent physicians I have ever interacted with, and I’m a retired RN who’s worked with a lot of physicians. When my daughter started experiencing sudden, acute and extreme neck pain with accompanying numbness and tingling of her left arm and hand, Dr.Perenich provided an electronic assessment of her symptoms the same day the pain started, made recommendations and saw her immediately in his clinic the next day. The office scheduler Amy was amazing and was kind enough to accommodate the time of the appointment and registered my daughter immediately so she could be seen that day! Dr. Perenich and his staff were very prompt, kind and attentive to my daughter, and her husband who accompanied her. I cannot recommend Dr. Perenich or the Tampa Back Institute highly enough. I know my daughter is in good hands as she continues to work with Dr. Perenich and his amazing staff to alleviate her pain. Thank you so much Dr.P

Always great service
Had to come in for lower back pain and the doctor thoroughly explained my problem to me and treatment options with me. He also went over my MRI with me to make sure I understood it. We spent over an hour talking about to do, which is way longer than any doctor would agree to but he seemed to only care about getting me fully educated about what I have and what I need to do or not do.

Great Doctor
Dr. Mark Perenich is great doctor and always takes time to listen to you and address any issues. I had ACL surgery in August and initially I was little scared for surgery but Dr. Mark Perenich is very kind and genuine doctor and surgery was comfortable with doctors and his staff.

Kept calling me to change an apt that had already been changed. I'm Not going forward with an MD and office staff that can't get the pre-op apt right never mind post op. And apparently they discourage in office apts once you initially meet with Dr. Perenich. Asked to talk with the MD re exactly what he was going to do and I was snapped at by his wife..(office manager, one who answers phone"what didn't he speak to you." Had a pre-op apt but they tried to change it to a "tele-vist"...said I was told I was coming in for a brace fitting and H+P update on such and such date...and was again snapped at .."do you want your surgery on the 19th or not..if so..do you want the 13th or 15th". Tried to explain I didn't have the pre-op apt on the day they were trying to change and that this was changed weeks ago and it wasn't a Telehealth visit...I was not listened to and forced to say ..well ok...Called back and canceled all apps as well as m surgery with this surgeon and office.

I was injured back in June, went to the ER, and was lucky enough to be referred to Dr. Mark Perenich. He is kind, compassionate, and caring. Since my first visit I have had to undergo several procedures, and each experience has been wonderful. At first I was so full of anxiety to get spinal injections and Spine surgery, but I can honestly say that each procedure went much better than I could have imagined. I had a SacralIliac joint injection today, and he was chatting with me while I was on the table under the X-ray. Next thing you know he said, “You’re are all done!” I didn’t know he had done it! I would give Dr. Perenich a thousand stars if I could! He works hard to make sure to give his patients the best possible experience. I hope he sees this review one day. And when he puts his head on the pillow at night, I hope he knows he has made a life changing difference in my life and so many others. One more thing, his staff is awesome! Tracy, Tracy, Jill, Amy and Kim. Best team ever!

Super sharp, no-nonsense, very experienced physician, skilled surgeon with an excellent bedside manner. I highly recommend. I was initially terrified at the thought of needing cervical surgery. But Dr. P and his excellent nursing and administrative staff took the time to answer every question I had, no matter how silly. They always answer their phones. Their surgical suite is state of the art. I felt in good hands at all times. I’m healing up well from the surgery. Their follow up has also been excellent. Thank you all of you!!! Dr. P your one of the good guys.
