no knowledge of link with Crohn's and psoriasis
no eye contact. He asked me if I thought Crohn's disease was related to skin disorders or psoriasis. Yes. skin is our largest organ and the rash and psoriasis is an immune response to inflammation in the gut or intestines small or large with Crohn's or gut brain connection

No interest in my abdominal pain description. Not volunteering any pertinent information and typing while I spoke with very little eye contact.

I would say that Dr. Ovsiowitz is a disgrace to a medical profession. I came to see him because of my abdominal pain. I barely had a chance to see and talk to a doctor. A resident performed the complete exam than the doctor came and spent a couple of minutes with me. I was told that I need upper GI endoscopy, blood test and then the doctor left. When I went to the front desk to schedule my endoscopy I was told that first available appointment that they have is more than two months ahead. I asked them to contact doctor and put me for the earliest day possible. I haven't heard from them since that (it happened in My 2018 and now is 2019). Nobody ever called me about my blood test results or follow up on my condition. Oh, and I forgot to mention that Dr. Ovsiowitz knows that I'm a physician myself.

Thank-you Dr Ovsiowitz for your care and understanding, listening to me regarding my concern - bad family history with colon cancer - I have no idea why so many people leave bad reviews! I can say is that he is very caring, listens to concerns and his team are excellent. My GP sent me to Dr Ovisowitz who has been nothing more than excellent and wonderful. I almost cancelled after reading some of the reviews. As with my GP the problems are with UCLA Medical Group back room staff, horrid people

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Ovsiowitz?
I would never recommend Dr Ovsiowitz. In my opinion he seems totally disinterested in why I have abdominal pain. No follow up after I had a test other than to go back to my primary doctor even though he is not a gastroenterologist and Dr Ovsiowitz is a gastroenterologist. I feel if the care I received is representative of his being a physician, I wonder why he is a doctor. I have never had a doctor show such a lack of interest in why I am in pain and no discussion as to next steps.
