Great neuro! Compassionate human
This doc took the time to see my daughter in the hospital when no other Sanford neurosurgeons would answer pagers or texts on the weekend. Within 5 min of evaluation he had a nurse set up an immediate OR time. He did a shunt revision which gave nearly immediate relief for a massive headache of 11 days. He also took the time to explain in detail the procedure he planned on doing and post OP he again met with us and answered every single question we had. Even more, he treated us with compassion and kindness and was not rude. It was very apparent that he is great at what he does but is very humble and sincerely cares about others. He saved my child's life.

Dr. Monasky treated my daughter in Sept 2017 for a skull fracture. He was very personable and caring towards my daughter, as well as my husband and me. I really appreciated that he was willing to take as much time as necessary to make sure we were comfortable with her diagnosis and treatment.
