My family care physician recommended Dr. Miller based on his competency in the operating room. Which, was irrelevant as one of his posse of residents did the actual surgery. It's been over a year since the surgery and my knee is worse now than before the surgery. His interpersonal skills, if he has any, are poor. I will never visit Dr. Miller again.

My experience with Dr. Miller was pretty awful. I had ACL/meniscus surgery with Dr Miller when I was twenty-eight, and extremely athletic. I am thirty-five and have never recovered. I had issues post-surgery that could have been addressed, but he was not interested. When my nerves were still incredibly painful months after surgery, he said, "Okay. Go get them ablated." I went to the appointment, and the staff there explained that this was not recommended. He doesn't listen to patients, has terrible bedside manner, and doesn't care about patient recovery. Whether or not he can do the technical skills, he has no other patient skills, doesn't explain, doesn't listen. I tried to switch doctors to work with one who could help me to recover and was told by a receptionist that it was inappropriate for me to ask. (Also a red flag.) So here I am, still unable to walk properly at 35, even after years of PT. So my suggestion is to find a different doctor.

He did not, or would not, answer my questions. His standard answer was something like 'I don't know, we'll know how it does after surgery'. At one point during my appointment, he showed me the presentation he was giving at an upcoming conference, which had nothing to do with my problem. Unbelievable.

I would not recommend Dr. Miller. He has little or no bedside manner. He would not listen to the symptoms I was telling him. He essentially told me to live with the pain and when it broke he could then fix it?? He made no attempt to show me MRI results or to offer any diagnosis other then to come see him when something broke? He may be a good surgeon for a complex repair but short of that, don't waste your time because he will talk over you and not listen to anything you have to say.

I didn’t feel like I had time to ask questions. He talked over me and didn’t explain my MRI results. He didn’t seem to care that I was in pain or offer advice other than no surgery and to start physical therapy. Very disappointed. No bedside manner AT ALL.

I had my first appointment with this doctor on March 16th. I have an extensive history with my left knee. Prior to him agreeing to see me, I had to send 5 yr prior knee records etc. My fear was I'd get there (drove 1h 15m) and he hadn't reviewed anything. Wrong! Both drs were knowledgeable with my past and had notes when they came in. A game plan was put in order. I was overall impressed with my appt. Between the two drs. They spent about 35 mins with me! Again, impressive.

I would not recommend Dr. Miller, He first had another doctor evaluate me. He then came in with 3 other people and immediately started talking down to me and acting like I was making up the pain I have. He was insulting and appeared to be "showing off" for the other men in the room. The visit was a complete waste of time other than now I know that I will never go back or recommend this orthopedic practice to anyone.
