Upon reading other’s reviews I realize that I also have some of the same complaints and some of the “went well” options. I’ve seen Dr. Marotto 3-4 times and he did rush the appointment. My exam lasted under 15 minutes and that’s counting the glaucoma exam. I was also never informed that I have incipient diabetic retinopathy until my latest appointment The Doc said: Your retinopathy hasn't changed much but we'll still keep an eye on it. I was never told about my diagnosis until then.

Dr. Marotto asked minimal questions and spent very little time examining my son. He was judgmental and abrasive with his recommendations. When my son kindly requested that Dr. Marotto tell him what he was planning to do prior to approaching him with tools, Dr. Marotto's response was simply telling him to "be still". He then proceeded to physically hold his head in position (My son is very accustomed to eye exams). He did nothing to reassure him or ease his concerns, or mine for that matter.
