Dr. Maiacco is Great!
Thorough and prepared. He had actually spent time studying my test results and had a plan of action. Great Doc. Even better human being.

He left a few yrs. back. I was his patient before he left. We had a good repour. I just found out he was back. I was so excited. I called to make an appointment immediately, the lady that answered the phone said he doesn't take my insurance. I'm 81 yrs. old and they did before. I asked her to please ask him. She said he doesn't take Medicare. I asked her to check with her supervisor. I have Medicare Part A and B, I have AARP plan J, I have State of Washington Service Card. Provider One. Once she heard I had Medicare she never asked me about my other Insurances. Could someone else check this out. Thank you, Linda Cockerham, DOB: 8/15/42.

The best of the best. Of the best.
Never in my entire life have I found a Dr. that listens so well. Even when I disagree and think his diagnosis is going to be wrong (because I've spent YEARS having to inform other doctors what I THINK is wrong so they go in the right direction and actually listen), he's been right every time. He takes care of our whole family, including my parents. He investigates what he needs to, and never disregards questions or concerns. At the same time, he reassures you when he's not concerned. He truly cares about his patients' health, and he NEVER acts like you're imposing on his time, no matter how many (sometimes irrational lol) questions you bring up. Dr. Maiocco truly deserves to be recognized for the outstanding level of care he provides. Some doctors just do their job. Dr. Mark practices medicine, the way a family doctor is intended to connect with, care about and know their patients (and their situations) so he can treat them as individuals. Incredibly rare these days. Simply the best.

Dr. Maiocco is about the only Dr. in Yakima that takes the time to talk to me during an appointment. He honestly cares about me and my well-being. The clinic he works at is a different story. Phone calls are not returned and referrals to specialists are not followed up on. The only reason I stay with the clinic is because of Dr. Maiocco. I would go to any clinic he practices at because his compassion.
