I had a horrible experience with Dr Ling for years. I feel he was more concerned with booking /billing for excessive appointments and trial studies /therapies than addressing my needs which resulted in extreme delays in getting medication that my insurance would approve and resolve the condition. He demands appointments that are his recommendations which can only be performed by his office ,and is not accepting of any other health care providers care even if it means duplicate labs or services at the patient cost. He REFUSES any telehealth visits , and denies medication if his dictated rules are not met. I felt Dr Ling was rude, and more concerned with doing what he wanted rather than what was best for me. During one phase i was driving 40 minutes each way 4 x weekly for weeks because Dr Ling refused to evaluate progress because he could only bill 1 service per day. Very poor care , not patient centered, lot’s of unnecessary stress and cost , excessive medications ect

Service and Cost
Service was great, cost was exceptionally high. Do not know the level of office visit but could not have been more than a 99212. Had a nitro service for one pre-cancerous area , took all of 2 minutes and was asked to pay $130.00 after insurance adjustment. Again Dr. Ling was great but what they charged was criminal for 10 minutes. Total charge was $489.00 and my portion for payment is $289.00 for 10 minutes, a crime I say. This is why Healthcare is in trouble.

Dr Ling is very very thorough and he listens to his patients. He is very good about answering all questions. I had melanoma several years ago and he is following me now. I like his staff as well, they are very friendly. I recommend him to anyone that has had melanoma or is suspicious for skin cancer.

I have never seen Dr. Ling, but have been happy with both PA's that I have seen. With that said, the front office staff I'd extremely rude and unprofessional. I was hung up on in the middle of speaking to a receptionist becuase she simply did not want to deal with me. I was shocked at the lack of respect; this was enough to make me never want to go back to Newnan Dermatology.

Each of my family members have been seen and treated by Dr Mark Ling. I've had only excellent experiences for 20 years with he and Dr Holzberg. I'm also a Nurse and consider myself pretty "choosy" with Dr selection.

Waited two months to get a early January Appt. and as that appt approached due to scheduling conflicts was rescheduled for the end of February. Once again there was another conflict and they tried to reschedule me for the end of March. It just shouldn't take four months to schedule an appointment. Very poor customer service.

As an established patient, I found it frustrating to be unable to reach the Appointment Desk after multiple attempts and disappointed when my voicemail request was not responded to. Reporting for my appointment with Dr. Ling, I was met with insult when the two Receptionists refused to admit, reschedule, or allow me to speak with the Practice Manager. There is no excuse for the rude manner in which I treated and the insulting, belligerent way that I was spoken to. UNPROFESSIONAL! AVOID!
