Saw this doctor many years ago but never forgot because he was one of the worst GI docs. Came into the room and spent maybe 10 minutes with me as a new patient. Acted like I was a waste of his time. Arrogant with a terrible bedside manner.

I am new to this Dr. When I scheduled an appointment to follow up on my bloodwork, I ended up seeing a someone else other than Dr Laukka (every time I needed an office appointment with my previous Dr. I saw him directly). I was not able to talk about how I was feeling & was not able to even meet my new doctor. He just reviewed my file and wanted to throw me on a new prescription without discussing anything about it with me. When I did my research on the side effects of the drugs I decided that I didn't want to take it. He came back&said that there were no reported cases of the side effects I was worried about, but right on the medication website it was listed-so I felt lied to. Then, I was basically told that I either need to take this drug or get my colon removed, which to me seems like another lie bc there are so many medications out there. Looked into getting a second opinion and they wont refer me anywhere local because they see them as "competition." Absolutely ridiculous.
