Dr. Mark Kendrick, MD

The lady who runs front office intake is a disgrace to the healthcare industry . We were seeking an initial consult with the doc to begin overseeing care for my older brother who is developmentally delayed. When we were questioned about a secondary insurance I informed her we have Medicare primary but could look into acquiring Medicaid in the future. She stopped me mid sentence and stated that if we carry Medicaid we can’t not be seen in their office. I replied it is not a problem, we can continue with visit. She went on to confirm we were not going to carry forward with any medicaid, and boldly suggesting “well ok, you going to be able to afford the appointment with no Medicare replacement?” I assured her once again it is fine. I continued by explaining I only recently taken over care of my brother, with our mother (previously overseen) entering skilled nursing facility, to have her look at me stating, “your family problems are not our problems.” When did healthcare lose the CARE?

I have been with Dr. Kendrick from the very beginning off his practice I would never leave him to go to any other doctor he is so compassionate, he listens and in my case has always solved my problems and if he was ever questionable he sent me to a very reputable specialist. The office staff you cannot find anywhere else they are the same as him friendly compassionate I can't say enough about everyone. I was thinking of moving up north further and I hesitate because I'm afraid I will not find as good as a doctor because once you start with him he remembers you your face you as a person not as a number. I would recommend him to anyone and if I could give him 20 Stars I would give him 20 Stars.

Have Dr. Kendrick as my family doctor for 18 years. He is always here for me and actually listens to my problems. H has solved many of them and I count on him to be "there" for me. I am 81 years old and with his help I will see 82.

Dr. Kendrick is absolutely wonderful. He LISTENS to your issues carefully and then takes the time to explain what the symptoms mean and how he is going to address them.. The staff is competent, friendly and feels home like because they all seem to like one another and especially like their doctor. I recently moved here and needed a new primary physician. After futile attempts to obtain an appointment w/ other providers; (in one case holding on the phone twice in excess of 20 minutes without response, I lucked upon Dr.Kendrick at Dunlawton Family Medicine. His office staff was cheery, friendly and & "welcomed me to their family" which I found charming and astounding in this day of depersonalized automation. Dr.Kendrick is a wonderful doctor and I feel most fortunate to have found him.

The most professional and compassionate doctor we have ever had. Would recommend him to everyone. His referrals are always as excellent as he is. The staff is tops also.

He is prompt, yet takes the time to cover your needs. Extremely compassionate. He is very careful to wash his hands before touching me. I wish all offices and doctors were as oriented to safety and reducing the possibility of passing on germs.
