Not communicative; he recommended a serious surgery that included a hospital stay, without telling me what was actually wrong. Had a bad feeling about him from the beginning and ended up requesting records to change doctors. I'd never recommend him to a friend or family member. Doctors need to be sure their patients understand their condition. After an extensive exam and cystoscope, I still have no idea what's wrong.

"My Parents 90 and 89 had to hire a caretaker to drive from Canton, GA to Sandy Springs, GA for my Dad to see Dr. Haber. He had recently broke his hipbone and had surgery and was coming to see Dr. Haber to have the catheter taken out. When my parents got to the location they were at the wrong building so was directed to the correct building but 10 minutes late because they had to walk. The assistant for Dr. Haber would not even take my parents information before asking Dr. Haber if he would see him. Dr Haber refused to see my Father who was 90 years old, recovering from hip replacement and had traveled from Canton to Sandy Springs to see him. The nurse set my parents down to reschedule but rightfully so they left and have no desire to see him. I can’t believe this Doctor couldn’t see my parents. "

The Dr. visited my brother-in-law in the hospital this morning. They had never met before today. The Dr. was so rude to a very ill man, that looked forward to meeting the Dr. all morning. My bother-in-law had been admitted through the ER with bleeding from his urinary tract and unable to urinate. He was in excruciating pain! Here are a few of the questions the Dr. asked my brother-in-law. Where did you have your surgery? (which was another hospital but further away). You should be at that hospital not here. What do you mean you don't know the Dr.'s name that operated on you? (the surgeon was of a different Nationality and we couldn't pronounce his name). His comment on leaving the room was my brother-in-law would probably be released in the morning and her could call his Dr. Don't see Dr. Mark Haber from GA Urology, especially when you are in the hospital looking for compassion.

Dr. Haber is a hack and should not be allowed to practice on humans. 33 “1 star” reviews and yet Georgia Urology still lets him practice under their name, what a shame. Actually, “Hack” is too kind of a word but I feel if I actually posted what I felt, my review wouldn’t get posted. I had a procedure yesterday and have been made about it all day today. Still in pain, no idea what was done, no follow up call, no post op discussion with me - however he did call a nurse who handed her phone to my wife so he could give a brief summary of what took place while standing outside in the wind where she couldn’t understand what he was even saying. He must have been late for golf, lunch or to watch his stories. Just horrible. And again, Georgia Urology still allows him to practice under their name, I guess they have never heard of “The Company You Keep”. Do NOT allow the “man” to touch you, your spouse or a friend. Hack

Horrible. Dr. Haber isn’t only a very rude person, he did a horrible job performing my vasectomy. The local anesthetic on one testicle did not take and he just insisted on yelling at me in pain while I (obviously) screamed in pain. I, 6 months later, still have sharp pains in my testicle. Oddly enough, I have a friend who I shared my story with and he had the SAME EXACT experience: pain and all. Use ANY other doctor than Dr. Haber for your vasectomy needs. I’ve shared war stories with other people who have had this done and they always shriek in disbelief of mine. The only time I was able to relate was with someone who shared the same doctor. Go figure.

Physician who appears to feel no need to explain, communicate or answer a question in a straight forward manner, clearly/obviously irritated at questions; absolutely no bedside manner, which would be excusable if any clinical confidence were instilled. It was definitely not.

I was referred to Dr. Haber by my family practice because of elevated PSA scores. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2011. Dr. Haber clearly explained all treatment options and later performed robotic surgery to remove the prostate. I am thankful to be cancer free over 7 years later. I frankly can’t believe sone of the negative reviews I am reading on this site.

I wish I had read reviews before seeing Haber. Pawned me off on Yuan, two surgeries and in more pain than ever. Neither he or his PA will return my calls. Service ain't what it used to be. Jerk. Larry Johnson

I was a patient of Dr Haber for several yrs but decided recently to look for someone else to treat my kidney stone problems. He has a different staff every time I come in for a visit and it’s probably because ive seen him be very hateful and even cuss out his medical and office staff at many visits. He’s an angry, miserable man and his staff can’t be giving their best care when they’re forced to work with someone like that. Georgia Urology should realize he stains their great reputation.

My experience with Dr.Haber was terrible. My surgery was for bladder prolapse. What began as a routine bladder tack resulted in four surgeries, two trips to the ER, eleven days in the hospital, home health care and physical therapy. First surgery bladder tack. Second surgery repair hole in bladder. Third surgery to repair hernia (intestine blockage) in port hole from surgery 1 and 2. Fourth surgery to remove urine from body cavity and repair hole in bladder a second time.

This entire process, from scheduling my appointment to the actual visit was the easiest and smoothest process I have ever had with a physician. Dr. Haber was extremely professional and listened to what I had to say. He explained everything in detail. Answered any questions and I never felt rushed. Highly recommend ??

Dr.Haber is my Urologist. He was referred to me by my Personal Care Physician when my PSA score went from 3.5 to 85. Dr Haber determined that I had an advanced case of Prostate cancer. He provided me with literature to study and answered all my questions. At my request Dr Haber removed my Prostate and additionally some Lymph nodes to prevent cancer from spreading. This was years ago and I am still cancer free today! Each checkup I thank him for getting it all.

If you are an elderly patient this is not the doctor for you! Lacks empathy, understanding and flexibility in treating older patients. Long time in waiting room, does not return phone call, even after three messages. Does not have responses to difficult questions; not a problem solver.
