Zero bedside manner
He was at Lankenau Hospital when my sister went into labor and he could not have cared less to even try to speak to her like a human being. Tried to push drugs on her without disclosing what they were, repeatedly shoved her legs aside in the stirrups after she delivered her baby, lied about her umbilical cord being white just 30 seconds after birth as she wanted to do delayed cord clamping, among many other comments and behaviors. I have been stewing over this for weeks and it was such an uncomfortable experience having him in the room. There was another woman with him at the time but never introduced herself and she repeatedly called my sister the wrong name while scolding her for having a hard time. Seems to be a group-wide issue of zero compassion.

Unaccommodating & insensitive
I was scheduled for a D&E, as a result of a miscarriage, with Dr. Finnegan. I was very uncomfortable having someone other than my OB complete the procedure, but I did not have a choice due to the urgent nature. Before my procedure, Dr. F came to speak with me briefly. I found him to be unaccommodating and insensitive. I asked if we could do another ultrasound before the procedure and he said "no, we don't have time". I also asked if we could test the fetus and he responded saying "I guess we can, if you want. But it takes two weeks to complete the testing". After the procedure, Dr. F did not check on me. In fact, I had to call the hospital two weeks later to ask if the test results were in. My diagnosis was a partial molar pregnancy. If I had not insisted to have the fetus tested, this would have been unknown and potentially caused major complications.

I’ve always had female Gyn providers. However last year Dr.Finnegan was recommended. I’m so glad he’s my Gyn doctor. Very kind, listens and fully explains everything. Office staff are all sweet and professional.

Dr. Finnegan has very cold and disconnected bedside manor. As an OB/Gyn I would not recommend him as his does not appear to be invested in his patients' welfare.
