Back FusionS
Dr Mark Falahee did two back fusions for me, the first one on L 4 and 5 and the second on L 3 and 4. I followed his directions very carefully, and my results have been spectacular.

I had back surgery in June of 2016 to correct compressed discs, stenosis, and sclerosis. Recovery was a 6 month nightmare. Constant lower back pain. Follow up appointments served no purpose as I was told many theories for my pain. I stopped going and now depend on pain pills to alleviate the pain. Find another doctor.

I wish he would have agreed to go back and fix one nerve running down my right leg that started pain after the surgery. I deal with it every night worse if I walk too much. Been my nightmare. Otherwise he did good the first time in ‘97 . I don’t usually complain but this thing really su—s. Wish I could walk again in the woods. Folks really think before going under a knife! Thanks

Dr. Mark Falahee is an arrogant doctor who doesn't follow thru with his patients. My experience with him was a complete nightmare. He left me in the worst pain possible. He left my return to the hospital after surgery on the same day, up to some incompetent nurses, that did not give me proper pain medication. And for 5 days, did not put a sheet on my bed and left me to stick to the plastic bed. Plus my personal medication that I had been on for a few years, was withheld from me. Like my Trazadone for my insomnia. On my first night after surgery an incompetent young nurse put a heat pad under my back instead of the cold pack. This caused my back to bleed causing blood in my spinal column and a hematoma across the nerves. The didn't to the MRI to find this out until the 5th day of being in that hospital laying there in hatrocious, hellish pain. The whole experience was uncalled for and my back has been worse since. This was in 2016.

Dr. Falahee performed my spinal surgery. I couldn't be more pleased with the results and recovery follow-up. Dr. Falahee and staff were very professional throughout my surgery and recovery process. I always felt his confidence in a good outcome and that was very reassuring to me and my wife. Thanks Doc, I have my mobility again.

Falahee ruined my life. 6 years ago he preformed a botched back surgery on me and gave me an incurable as well as untreatable neurological disease called adhesive arachnoiditis. It’s literally one of the most painful diseases known to medicine. He was a complete jerk about the whole thing. Not to mention I lost EVERYTHING!!! Please do yourself a favor and find another doctor. The last 6 years has been hell on earth. All I was trying to do was get my back fixed....

He did my L1 and 2 fusion in 1989 after a plane accident. This doctor doesn’t come any better. He was the best and I have referred at least 20 plus people to him , all with good results. Now I’m back in need of nerve burning

I have a very difficult time reading the negative reviews of Dr. Falahee. This will be my 3rd fusion in the past 14 years. He has always showed the utmost care and concern when I have seen him. He explained my condition well, was honest and upfront and listened to all my questions.

I don't think I can say enough about Dr Falahee. He is one of the most pleasant doctors I have ever met. He took the time to explain my back issues to me and how the surgery would help. In the hospital his bedside manner was kind, courteous and he did not ever make me feel rushed. Excellent bedside manner! He also has a very good sense of humor which he uses to make his patients feel relaxed and cared for. I would highly recommend him. Thank you Dr Falahee.

Dr Falahee was wonderful! He took his time to explain everything that needed to be done for my lumbar fusion. And gave my emotional husband a pep talk before I went back to surgery. Just a great guy and a year later- my back is healed and I am doing extremely well!
