Elkus is the best!
Dr. Elkus has performed surgery on both of my shoulders and has done an amazing job. He spends the time needed to find out what is going on and is great at communicating what the problems are and all of the options. He's truly one of the best doctors I've gone too.

Dr. Mark Elkus is the best!!!
Dr. Mark Elkus is the best orthopedic doctor. He listens to your needs. He has done total knee replacements on both my knees and they are great. I had no complications with either of these replacements. I most recently saw Dr Elkus for a shoulder problem. I know his diagnosis and treatment will help heal my shoulder. I have all the confidence in Dr Elkus and highly recommend him to everyone.

Praise for Dr Elkus
Dr Elkus has performed a joint replacement on both knees and my right hip. All have been flawless with no complication and reaching PT goals earlier than expected. He covers all the bases and participates in all aspects of care both before and after surgery. His staff is beyond excellent. A footnote...My right knee kept 'giving way' leading to falls. I thought is was related to the right knee replacement but that was not the case. Dr Elkus went above and beyond what would be expected once he determined it was not a surgery complication. He ordered nerve conduction studies and multiple mris. When he called with the results I was stunned. A brain cyst and two bulging discs in my spine were found. He then referred me to a neurosurgeon for further treatment. Dr Elkus part was over but he went the extra mile to get the help I needed. When I remarked on this he said, 'if I didn't do right by you I wouldn't have been able to sleep at night'.Truly a good man and a great surgeon!

Amazing Surgeon and Staff!
Dr Elkus performed a total hip replacement and has treated my knee for osteoarthritis. I can’t say enough about his surgical skills, but even better than those are his kindness and concern for his patients receiving the best care. He has the most efficient and caring staff that go out of their way to assist and prepare patients for treatment and surgery for the best outcomes before, during and after. The best experience I have had with a medical office and provider!

Total knee replacement
I have used Dr.Elkus for both my knee replacement. He is caring sits down and talks to you like a friend he along with his staff make you feel comfortable like you are his only patient. He checks on you and will talk to you directly on the phone. His knowledge of what you are experiencing and what needs to be done is amazing.i am so glad Dr. Dugas at Andrew's sports medicine had refereed my situation to do mt knee cause it was so damaged from years of wear and already being worked several years earlier and had hardware in there. Mark came up with game plan and fixed me. And just last month did my other knee. I have nothing but kind words for Mark and his entire staff. We talk about work life and how things are going. Mark is my doctor but I feel like he is more of a friend. If you need help give him a call . They get you back and don't have sit there waiting. Trust me I've had numerous surgeries neck back spine open heart. I would not let anyone else do any type work on me.

I have used Dr Elkus for several years. He is more than a Dr. he is a partner in my health decisions and what is right for me. His entire office staff are very friendly and supportive. More than anything I appreciate Maddison his PA and him for being so supportive and understanding especially during pre-opp and follow up.

Highly recommend Dr. Elkus and his team.
Dr. Elkus listened to my concerns and offered several options to avoid surgery but eventually knee replacement was the best option. Two of my goals in finding a physician for my knee was that they would do the surgery themselves, as opposed to someone being trained and that they perform this surgery alot. Dr. Elkus met both of these criteria and the procedure and recovery were exactly as he explained.

Kind and Caring
Dr. Elkus has done 2 hip replacements for me. He is a very gifted surgeon and has given me the gift of a pain free life. He is a caring communicator and spent time showing me how to navigate life with hip precautions, especially in the area of personal exercise. With both surgeries he set up Home Health Care and Physical Therapy in the home for two weeks which made life easier right after surgery. Also, recommending Game Ready icer and providing an extra week was a game changer in eliminating pain after surgery. Dr. Elkus is a kind and caring surgeon who treats the whole patient.
