Dr Dolan and his staff did an excellent job in replacing my hip. I was in constant pain before my surgery in August and now can move around pain free and resume a normal life. I have a rare condition where my femur is larger than normal and he was prepared and had the right size prosthesis available that fit perfectly. My other hip is showing the same symptoms as the other and I have decided to replace the other in January without hesitation. I would recommend Dr Dolan to anyone needing any kind of joint replacement surgery.

I have seen Dr. Dolan for 2-1/2 years and our visits culminated in a recent knee replacement. He was very thorough in explaining the procedure and invited questions no matter how simple they may have seemed to me. His pre-op visit was very reassuring and he was quick to inform my wife of the outcome as I was being wheeled to recovery.

Dr. Dolan is awesome. Spent time listening to all my concerns before and after surgery. Informed me very well of what to expect after surgery. Treated me with respect and concern. I felt comfortable with Dr. Dolan performing my surgery and would not hesitate to recommend him.

I am still flabbergasted by the flippant, irritated attitude displayed by this doctor from, literally, the moment he walked into my exam room until he left. It's the worst experience I've ever had in an (attempted and unsuccessful) dialogue with a physician, and I spent years working for a team of them, thankfully never having an experience like this. I see on these reviews I am not the only person who had this kind of experience. Needless to say, I will not be going back.

I’m a retired RN I worked in surgery and for surgeons for the past 22 years. Dr. Dolan is an excellent Orthopedic surgeon. From the first visit through the surgical process I was impressed with his knowledge and his caring manner.
His surgical choice for me has been the perfect solution to two years of chronic hip pain. I will be forever grateful to have discovered such an outstanding surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Dolan for your orthopedic needs.

I just experienced a Right knee Replacement. Dr. Dolan has been an expert in this field. He knows what he is doing! Dr. Dolan explains everything. His Assistant, Aaron has the best Bed-side mannerisms you could ask for! The idea of Physical therapy right away is the Best way for anyone having a Joint Replacement.
I will always recommend Dr. Mark Dolan!!!

This was the worst visit I have ever had with a doctor in life. He was rude, degrading, had zero bed side manner and talked to me as if I wasn't a person with feelings. I was told because of my weight he couldn't help me. Then to really push it home he let me know no one anywhere in the whole USA will give me one. Oh and he didn't have time to be my weightloss counselor. I left crying feeling abused and horrible about myself. He wasn't the Dr. I was referred to but who I was stuck with.

I was very concerned about having knee replacement surgery and my quality of life afterward because I have a very physical job. Dr. Dolan took time to explain my procedure and answer all my questions, until I was confident this was what I wanted to do. I am very impressed with his level of compassion and skill. Even though the scar was the least of my concerns, he did such excellent work that at six weeks post-op, half of it is nearly invisible! I would recommend him to anyone.

I had a total hip replacement w/Dr. Dolan.
The entire experience from scheduling, to surgery,to follow up appts. AND help w/ insurance was FLAWLESS.... Hope Orthopedics & Willamette Surgery Center are staffed with stellar health care professionals. I experienced NO pain throughout the entire procedure. A bit of discomfort, but no pain. I took 2 pain pills the first 2 nights before going to sleep, at the recommendations of the nurses to keep ahead of any pain. Thank you Dolan Team!

A year ago I had Accepted being 70 years old and crippled. Thanks Dr. And Team at Hope Orthopedics, I now have pain free mobility for the foreseeable future. I am now riding my bike and my horse, walking the dog and mowing the lawn which was out of my range a year ago. Dr. Dolan has given me a great gift, I have a future. RPM. Ps: Did I mention I am taking my wife dancing!!

I did NOT want to have knee replacement surgery! But, when they started to impact my life + Dr. Dolan said it was inevitable, I had to face reality. He never pressured me and told me to come back when I couldn't stand it any longer. When I did, he and Erin took as much time as needed + answered all of my MANY questions and I was confident in my decision and choice of surgeon. My outcome(s - 2 knees) have been good and when I can't stand my hip any more, I won't hesitate to go back to Dr. Dolan.

Dr. Dolan and the Hope Orthopedic Clinic staff treated me with respect and dignity every step of the way through my recent visit. Each person listened carefully and responded appropriately. The treatment received has worked well to relieve discomfort and the information provided on other alternatives has given me much to consider. When I shared about another issue Dr. Dolan was quick to offer a referral to Dr. McCormick. This was one of those other alternatives provided for consideration.

Dealing with chronic knee pain/problems for over two decades now, I've seen several Orthopedic Doctors including 3 previous surgeries. I am extremely satisfied with Dr. Dolans professionalism and honest communication about my options and what to expect. Even though recovery has had its challenges, there were no surprises and I am extremely happy with the surgery results. I highly recommend Dr. Dolan and his entire staff. On a scale of 1 to 10, Dr. Dolan gets a 12+ from me.
