Dr Castellaw is very thorough and listens to his patient's concerns carefully. He won me over when he got me treated for an issue that other doctors had been diminishing and ignoring for years. I am highly impressed. The only thing I am not satisfied with is that he doesn't take my mother's insurance. I would love to have the added reassurance that she is getting the same level of care that I am.

Dr. Castellaw is a fine doctor, but his staff with the Baptist Medical Group is lacking. They are promoting this My Chart Computer System for patients to effectively to communicate with their health care providers. Apparently, no one is monitoring their message center. I had to call about a medication problem, after there was no response for two weeks.

This is Arla Pribnow again and I was a little hard on Dr Castellaw in my review. He is a fine Christian man and is very nice for the very few minutes I see him. I just feel lost in such a big , somewhat impersonal (using mychart or phone messages) and things get lost or confused going through all the channels..

My family has gone to Dr. Castellaw for years. You don’t find doctors like him anymore. He’s compassionate, caring and a Christian.When no one else can figure out what’s going on he can. I highly recommend him. He’s the best! Yes, the wait time may be a little long at times but that’s because he is so good and he is very thorough with his patients.
