My father saw this doctor when he was diagnosed with lung cancer. When I say RUN to any other physician, I mean it. He told us this must be treated quickly and aggressively, and then continually booked appointments 2 weeks apart promising a plan of action each time. Every time my dad would show up and he tell him the same thing he did before with no new information and no plan. He asked my dad if he had called a surgeon, which we were never informed to do (I phoned in on every appointment). HE is the doctor and that is his job, if he told us to call we absolutely would have, but he had the audacity to tell my father that “he would do the leg work and call for him.” As if he was doing him a favor. Finally we spoke up, and he promised he would make a game plan and would call my father the next day. He never called. He never even had his office call, and never apologized. I was floored at how unprofessional and heartless this was. That was the final straw and he sought care in Boston.

I would schedule myself for the first appointment of his day at 9:00am. Often I wouldn’t be seen until 9:45 or later. He was regularly behind schedule. Also I understand he’s an oncologist as well and I was there for a genetic blood condition, but he never returned a phone call about discontinuing blood thinners after I delivered my son. He didn’t know the dosage of medication I was on either.

Excellent Doctor Saved my life in 2004-5 from IBC (Inflammatory Breast Cancer)! April 2004 pink, dimpled-looking right breast can’t remember if Stage III or IV, but I was told I only had a few months to live ! Dr Mark E Anderson started Chemo Therapy through a portocath installed in my upper chest (because the drugs were so dangerous to touch) while being treated to kill the cancer! Then I had surgery to remove my breast, followed by 30 days of radiation and I am 14 year survivor GODBLESS DR A!
