Right carpal tunnel release. Love that she does local anesthetic rather than general anesthesia. Have had excellent results so far. She was professional, explains things. Great experience all around.

Dr. Matarrese has done three procedures on my hands, basal arthroscopy on both of my thumbs to relieve a very painful condition caused by arthritis and a trigger finger release on my left hand with another trigger release procedure imminent on my right hand. All of those procedures have been very successful for which I am very grateful. Chronic pain conditions are not something I care to live with and at least as far as these conditions are concerned, I no longer have to. I have recommended her to friends and I will continue to do so.

The best!
I can’t praise Dr. Matarrese enough and I will be forever grateful for her knowledge, skill and expertise. Here is my story. After having all the diagnostic tests done , a highly experienced doctor performed a carpal tunnel surgery on my left hand in Albany, NY where I live. That surgery solved absolutely nothing and I was still having an excruciating debilitating pain in my hand every day. So I went back to the same doctor, who could not find a reason for the constant pain I was in. I went to see another highly experienced doctor for a second opinion. Totally useless and no solution. Dr. Matarrese was recommended by a friend and being desperate, I decided to travel to Plattsburgh and see if there was anything she could do. At the very first visit she gave me hope. With a very simple 2 minute test she diagnosed the problem! Few weeks later she performed an outpatient surgery and gave me the quality of life back. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU Dr. Matarrese!

She very professional about what she does for her patients and she very caring to her patients an she follows up on her clients monthly to see how you are doing I would recommend her to anyone she is a #1 doctor in my eyes she deserves the doctor of the year award
