Dr. Marisa Hoyne, MD

In my experience no medical provider practicing internal (family) medicine has ever instilled more confidence or demonstrated more investment in the patient’s health. Dr Hoyne is simply the best family doc you’ll find anywhere!

Dr. Marisa Hoyne has been my internal medicine physician/primary care provider for the last six years. She and her wonderful nurse Phyllis have provided top-notch, compassionate care to me for the various conditions and injuries my 60-something body endures. My visits are never rushed; I always have enough time to express myself and be heard. Dr. Hoyne is extremely SMART and well educated. I really LIKE smart, especially in my physician. She is gifted at putting the little puzzle pieces together to show the changing picture of my health. She is great at explaining my issues and her reasoning for treatment plans, and she includes me in any decisions. Dr. Hoyne’s strong science background and allopathic training still leave room for using proven holistic approaches in conjunction with traditional Western medical methods, such as suggesting turmeric and an anti-inflammatory diet for my arthritis. She encourages more exercise without shaming me. Dr. Hoyne is the total package.

Always clear in her explanations. Compassionate. Listens. Thorough examination. Friendly. I would recommend her highly to anyone looking for a provider and I'm fussy!

She needs to stop treating older folks like they can't make decisions for themselves,over prescribing medications, fear mongering her patients into unnecessary tests and referrals and recommend more natural things like diet,exercise,less medications and less unnecessary tests and referrals.She needs to stop telling her patients that naturals remedies are bad for people's health.It's as if she is only concerned about money.I would not recommend her for myself or to other people.
