Disappointing experience
We had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Marisa Ciufalo’s office. In our experience, parents are asked to take used diapers home, which we found inconvenient. Most staff seemed unwelcoming to us, except Maria, who was kind. From our perspective, Dr. Ciufalo appeared impatient. When I used my phone to take notes, she asked me to stop, calling it distracting—a practice we found unprofessional, as I rely on my phone to track medical discussions and to prepare questions. She also seemed frustrated when I asked for clarity on weight measurements (e.g., “X.Y pounds”). We felt discouraged from asking questions, which we believe is unprofessional.Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this practice and have switched providers.

Kicked us out
She wouldn’t see my son because he had a cough even though he had no other symptoms of covid. She wouldn’t see a sick kid and it turned into bronchitis. My boys rarely saw it. She would comment on it all the time that she only really saw them for well visits so when he needed her, she was there for him. I complained and she kicked 2 healthy kids out of her practice because of it. She’s an awful doctor if she can’t see kids that are sick.

Condescending
Doctor only wanted to speak to child, not parents. Did not listen or take an interest in situation at hand. Communication and clarity is lacking. Doctor is too eager to get you out the door after not listening to concerns. I would love my co pay back, thanks for nothing.

took to long to figure out how awefull she is
After years of just assuming this was just the state of medicine and accepting many misses including orthopedic issues that were not caught until they were uncorrectable without major surgery, we finnally came around to the fact that its not medicine its her. The combination of a dissinterest in your input and a refusal to do or perscribe anything that the insurance company may not like right or wrong.Along with a thinly vailed obtuse attitude is more than we can continue to bear.

Very rude, hostile office. Wait time is long. Dr. Ciufalo is only Doctor there; no team. Very disappointing.

Dr. Ciufalo knew as a young child she wanted to be a pediatrician. Some people were just brought to Earth for a specific calling. She is an amazing, intelligent, thoughtful, caring doctor who has given my children nothing but the best patient care. Love her!
