Dr. Mario Gross, MD

I am in the healthcare field and have had a horrible experience with this physician and his staff. I have a chronic condition that has been mismanaged, and was made worse by his staff - who consistently fail to communicate with patients. They are highly unprofessional and a disgrace to the industry. Be prepared for a management team who doesn't care about your conditions and views you as a burden. You will have to call this office daily for weeks at a time because they don't return your calls or provide appropriate follow-up care. In the event you do get through to staff, they are awfully rude and unapologetic. I have had to discontinue my care here due to their heinous treatment of patients. When confronted, the nurses are hostile and still fail to take appropriate action regarding treatment plans. A complete and total disaster. Do you research and GO ELSEWHERE.

I strongly advise against seeing Dr. Gross. He performed my C-section which resulted in 2 bacterial infections and 2 additional surgeries (performed by a surgeon who specializes in wound care). He used sutures that didn’t dissolve, causing the infections and dehiscence in multiple areas of the incision. When I visited with him postpartum and expressed my concern for the dehiscence and infection that wasn’t improving he was very nonchalant stating that I didn’t need any more antibiotics and that the incision would eventually close up by applying hydrogen peroxide and putting a band aid over it. This response prompted me to seek care elsewhere. It took me 6 MONTHS to heal from my C-section. In addition to his poor surgical skills, he is very very strange. I had not seen him once during my pregnancy, but he ended up performing my csection- so basically stay away from anywhere he practices so that you don’t end up unwillingly under his care.

He doesn’t follow up on what he says he’s going to do. Waited 10 days and many phone calls for him to call in my prescription! Office lies for him! The delay on my mammogram report they said he was comparing last mammogram. When in fact the mammogram place said that was not true. AWFUL

I love Dr Gross I’ve been seeing him for over 3 years he did my c-section, very friendly and a professional!!

I am warning all women, PLEASE do not go to Dr. Gross or Kathy Fair! I recently had an endometrial ablation at their Boca office. It should have been a routine procedure. I was given the wrong prescription that I took the night before. Also, I was not given anesthesia as directed by NovaSure. The endometrial lining of my uterus was burned without anesthesia. I can’t describe the pain that I had for approximately 15 hours! I had an immediate fever and vomited within 5 minutes(in the office bathroom) after the procedure due to the intense pain. Dr. Gross never even came back in the room to check on me. I was told he left for lunch. I emailed Kathy’s office telling them I was still in extreme pain. They waited 9 hours to respond. This office is totally inept and negligent.

Dr. Gross was amazing. When I mentioned that I have anxiety and panic attacks he listened AND inquired further. I feel another clinician would have dismissed it but he took it into account with why I was there.

De Gross followed me during my first pregnancy. I was originally seeing another doctor in the practice but I switched all my appointments to him after meeting him the first time. I wish he was with a different practice. The way their administrative treats patients is horrendous. They lie about claim information, schedule appointments wrong, cancel appointments and do not tell you, etc. Shocking. A colleague of mine was using this practice too but left since then.

Dr Gross is a compassionate doctor that is attentive to the patients concerns not only during pregnancy but after as well. He has true true interest in his patients & you know it the moment you meet with Dr. Gross. I would highly recommend him for OBGYN services.

Loved this doctor and the staff. Dr Gross was very gentle and sat with me explaining everything. I am a baby when it comes to going to doctors, but his bedside manner was excellent. He even made me laugh trying to get me to relax. There was no wait when I got to the office. Even though it was my first time going there, I got an appointment the next day when I explained to the receptionist that I was in pain and nervous. That usually doesn't happen when you're a new patient anywhere.

Dr. Gross is amazing. Super caring and really takes the time to listen to you so that he can best help you. He is very knowable and thinks out of the box regarding diagnosing issues and treatment plans. You are very lucky if you live nearby and can have Dr. Gross as your OB!

Dr. Gross is an outstanding doctor very clear in his explanations n very caring I'm very happy with him in 8yrs suffering with menopause he was the only one able to help me.
