Dr. Struyk sees her role in medicine as an educator helping patients understand their health better so they can partner with her to improve it. She enjoys seeing families and taking care of babies, children, adolescents and adults.

Dr. Struyk is married and has three children. In her free time, she enjoys biking, running, swimming, cross-country skiing, traveling and cooking with her family. Dr. Struyk is a dog lover and has a black lab mix she adopted from the Humane Society.
