My results came back as skin cancer after having a biopsy performed. I didn’t know anything about skin cancer and I was scheduled with her for removal of the cancer. This took place in her normal patient room which didn’t seem very sterile for a surgery. I didn’t know what to expect. As was not given any other options regarding this procedure. After I was bandaged up she acted like it wasn’t a big deal at all. Just put Vaseline on it. When I first saw what took place I screamed. My leg had a hole in it larger than a silver dollar. I could see all my cells, veins, etc. fast forward after 2 infections, multiple visits to the wound care clinic it finally healed after 7 months. I have a horrible big black and purple scar that could have been avoided after I learned that I could have had MOHS surgery which saves skin tissue and a plastic surgeon stitches up the wound. I feel that I was not informed because she would not have made the money on a surgery if I had gone to a MOHs surgeon.

I wanted to have many of my moles removed and she wanted to charge me a couple hundred dollars for each mole that wasn't suspected to be potentially cancerous. She didn't remove any skin tags. I found a much better dermatologist who did remove both moles and skin tags. She seems to be all about money.
