Dr. Melnik saved my life
I met Dr. Melnik in 2018 after being diagnosed with breast cancer. I was lucky to have her as my Surgical Oncologist. Dr. Melnik is not only kind and patient, but she is amazingly gifted and extremely knowledgeable. I cannot imagine having walked this journey without her and her team. I am about to celebrate five years since my diagnosis!

I didn't feel any compassion. I felt like just another number on her check off list for the day. I was overwhelmed with all the information she was giving me and didn't feel like I had any say in what the plan should be. It was an uncaring and uncomfortable appointment. My husband felt the same. I have never in my life decided to get a second opinion, until now.
