She just CAN'T be wrong! Everyone else is wrong!
Afib similar symptoms ARE a medical emergency. She denied my symptoms, called my PCP a liar, chuckled at everything I said, hardly listened to my heart palps (2 other doctors picked up on), treated me like I was delusional, denied my BP (it spikes and lowers due to said palpitations, but I know nothing about my own body apparently). She would not shut her mouth about anxiety when I respectfully told her to please stop. Too lazy to be bothered saving lives, so she chalks everything up to anxiety. I have an official diagnosis. She failed as a doctor to respect my wishes and treat me with diligence and respect with the symptoms I presented with. What I went to the ER for was indeed a medical emergency, but Penn Hospital did absolutely nothing past an EKG. EKGs do not pick up on everything. My cardiologist found what was wrong in 10 mins. You need to take people's heart conditions seriously and stop treating the ER like an urgent care.
