Terrible experience with her
Dr Ellington has made my anxiety and stress at an all time high coming to my OB visits during my pregnancy. So much so that I made the hard decision to switch OB offices at 33 weeks pregnant. The comments she made and ultimatums about medication prescribed when they were deemed unnecessary by another OB is concerning. Not to mention no other doctor at her practice suggested medication for the same issue. She also measured me at 7 weeks ahead and when I questioned that maybe the doctors at the practice all measured differently, she made a smart comment about “only having one pelvic bone”. (After seeing a new OB they determined I was measuring 1 week ahead) I left my last OB appointment with her crying and overwhelmed which is not how I want to feel during my pregnancy and gave me little confidence my birth would be a great experience if I stayed at the practice.

Cold & Angry OB/GYN
I expected the birth of my first child to be a memorable and beautiful experience. I will just be blunt and offer facts, she does not allow the birth of your child to be videotaped, even if you offer to only record only the baby and mother. She threatened my sister that she would call security if she recorded the birth of my first child. This was said while I was delivering. This physician took away what should have been a beautiful time for me. I will never be able to see the birth of my child, the stress she created for me with her threats and anger during my delivery was horrific not only for me but my sister and fiance. She also only allowed two people to be present during the birth when I wanted my mother to be there as well. She was kind enough to leave with tears in her eyes. I would not recommend this physician.
