Wonderful Physician
Dr. Benner is a wonderful physician and human being. I have been going to her off and on for the last 7 years for treatment of a recurring wound. I have always felt respected and listened to as a patient. Her bedside manner is fantastic and I wouldn’t say that for most physicians and mid-level providers I’ve seen. She even visited me when I was admitted to St Joe’s, which really brightened my spirits. I will be saddened when she retires one day, although I will be happy for her. She’s very skilled at wound healing, and never gives up when wounds become a challenge to heal. It is a comfort knowing that she will be there if my condition flares up again.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Benner?
My husband, who has since died of tongue and throat cancer, was treated by Dr. Benner in the emergency room at St. Joseph for severe tooth and mouth pain. After being there earlier in the day we were told by another physician to return in the evening for more antibiotics and when we got there Dr. Benner accused my husband of only being there for the drugs, she took him off the IV and asked us to leave. It was hurtful, humiliating, so untrue and something I will never forget.
