Over an hour wait all the time
Every time I went with my mother, we waited in the waiting room for over an 1 Hr or an 1 1/2 Hr the whole appointment time is close to 4 hour. Tired of wasting my day there. She is a good doctor once you see her

Starting going to Dr. Maniya as advised by a co worker, did not like her mannerism from day one, but on a follow up visit I was given to her PA who was always attentive and very efficient, for this reason I continued with the practice. As of last year I was returned to Dr. Maniya waiting room is always crowded, and wait time is 45 minutes to an hour and another 20 to 30 minutes waiting in the exam room. Dr. Maniya's mannerism is quite abrupt, she doesn't listen and over talks you, never addressing the issue at hand and thinks a pill is the cure for symptoms rather than finding the cause to treat the illness. Bathroom facility is quite unsanitary, (not allowed to put toilet tissue in the toilet but in the waste paper basket (UGH!!!), never any hand soap. Presently seeking another PCP.

Dr. Maniya has been my primary doctor for 15+ years. She is highly skilled, competent, caring and thorough. She has taken care of me through many illnesses and situations. She not only takes care of the illness at hand but questions your all over general health with every visit. I never feel rushed with her. Her staff is welcoming and professional. When I have an appointment with her, I feel as if I am going to visit a friend. I highly recommend her.

She may be fine if you're just looking for a doctor to see for a yearly check-up, but if you have a chronic condition do not go to this doctor. I went to her with ongoing lung issues after my doctor retired, she continuously gave me a bare minimum of meds, wouldn't listen to what I needed & told me just to go to the ER instead. When I called her to relay what the ER doc recommended, she even asked "What are you calling ME for?" That & not sending my referral to my lung doctor were my final straw

Honestly, I do NOT understand how this physician managed to receive such high ratings! The wait time in her office is absolutely ridiculous -- 60-90 minutes (sometimes even longer); the cleanliness of the examination rooms is substandard, and leaves much to be desired (ALL of them should have clean, functional sinks, not just bottles of hand sanitizer); the doctor's manner is abrupt, impatient, inattentive, dismissive, and rather haughty. The only saving grace is the courtesy of the staff.
