Waited 2 Hours She Didn't Perform Tests
I was 15 minutes late. Actually 7 minutes thanks to an accident and then had to wait in line while ONE person was work and working the reception desk. By the time the person at the desk found someone to ask if I could still be seen it was 15 minutes and they put me in a room. Nobody informed of any delays with the doctor TWO HOURS LATER Dr. Reese comes in and tells me come back for tests on my wrists. I go back and THREE students do the test Dr. Reese wasn't even there for 95% of the test. I won't be a test subject anymore for SRAL and the students. My insurance pays for a doctor and that's what I will get and it a doctor doesn't see me within 15 minutes, I will leave from now on. It works both ways. I will not see Dr Reese again.

major misdiagnosis, medical gaslighting
I came in years ago with shoulder pain, and ER x-rays that clearly showed a dislocated shoulder. This doctor brushed off my pain as being caused by bad posture, and I was repeatedly told, "it's a compressed nerve in your neck, not your shoulder." I was ordered to do PT which of course caused more tearing and stress on my shoulder. I finally got a second opinion by an orthopedic surgeon on imaging and labs from this clinic and my initial imaging. It turns out, I DID dislocate my shoulder quite severely (visible on x ray) and had traumatic injuries in that area as a result, which have been untreated due to this doctor's dismissal. I would never recommend this doctor or clinic to anyone. I wish had taken me seriously or believed me before more damage was done to my shoulder.

AVOID
Awful. Didn't listen to anything I said. Decided immediately that my pain was due to posture yet another doctor later found three torn muscles in my back. She finished the appointment by aggressively asserting that I was only seeking pain meds when that topic never came up and I have no history of ever using them in the past. AVOID.

Avoid this doctor
Zero compassion. Listened but no follow up. So many better options available.

I explained my history with sciatica in detail. She asked very few questions. She ordered an XRay in her office, looked at it and said basically that I will get episodes. She suggested PT. I tried to get more detailed explanation unsuccessfully. Its not clear what the primary source of my problem is - whether it is skeletal and if so from where, whether it is muscle related, etc. Did did no physical manipulation to try and narrow the problem down or to rule out or in any specific source of my issue. She suggested PT. I've since requested a new referral to PT a couple of time and she has since ignored my request

I thought Dr. Reese was very thorough, communicative about what she was evaluating and what my diagnosis was, as well as knowledgable about the range of treatment options and possible changes down the line that might be necessary. It is a large practice (and busy) but she clearly was invested in just me during or time together and I didn't feel rushed. Most importantly, she knows her stuff.
