My Favorite Nephrologist
When I found out I was in kidney failure in Sept 2019, I went to VM for a second opinion. So glad I did, because Dr. Salazar became my nephrologist and educated me and did everything we could to prolong my kidney function. When I started dialysis during the pandemic, she was so accommodating with telehealth visits. Received my kidney in September 2020 at VM and she and the rest of the team along with the surgeons were amazing. Always recommend VM for kidney and pancreas health if anyone asks.

I wear hearing aids. However it is still hard to hear certain tones of voice. Dr Salazar noted this and typed her questions, answers and concerns on her large screen for me to view to be sure I got the most information from my visit. What a great Dr. [...].

Dr Salazar has always been one of my best doctors. He recommendations are always based on hard data, patterns, and years of experience. The best combination. Finally, she is never in a rush to complete her exam. She communicates well. She clear about her diagnosis and options.

Amazing
She is outstanding very thorough and caring she took prompt steps to save my transplant kidney from rejection. She spends much time with me and answers all my questions and explains everything to me in great detail. I thank her for always being here when scared or nervous about health . She's the best anyone looking for kidney care for see her
