Dr. Maria Court, MD

Dr. Court is more than just a brilliant doctor, although she is that first and foremost. She is also a compassionate and caring advocate for her patients, which includes my son. She is an astute listener, respects her patient's process in their road to recovery and gently guides the family throughout. What I love the most about her is that she genuinely gets excited for her patients when they start recovering. She really is their biggest fan and supporter! My husband and I will be forever grateful for her guidance.

I have sought treatment over the course of 10 years with several therapists and each therapist resulting in small measured progress from one to the next. I was hesitant to reach out to Dr. Court because I didn't want prescriptions pushed on me and because of her "doctor" title I feared I would not be listened to. My experience with Dr. Court could not be anymore opposite than my initial expectations -- in the short amount of time I have been seeking her treatment, I have progressed leaps and bounds in comparison to my years of therapy spent prior. I appreciate her concise and tactful approach while never sparing any warmth or compassion in the process. She is very knowledgeable of her craft and will use multiple methods as needed to improve the quality of treatment received. The best thing you can do is invest in yourself and/or your family -- Dr. Court helps to achieve that goal. Highly recommended for personal, marriage and family therapy.

I have been seeing Dr. Court now for 3-4 years and she is an amazing psychiatrist. She is very warm and approachable and also very knowledgeable about medications. Dr. Court and her team are very responsive and help whenever needed. I would highly recommend Dr. Court.

I am very fortunate to be one of the families with whom Dr. Court works. She truly goes above and beyond for her patients. In addition to her clear intelligence and commitment to staying up to date with relevant research, there is an ease to which she connects with patients and creates a safe therapeutic space. She has and continues to help my family immensely, and I couldn't recommend her highly enough.

I have seen Dr. Court for 10+ years. There is no one I trust more than her. She has been responsible for my psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and prescriptions since I was a teenager. Her psychiatric expertise and empathic personality is unmatched. She is always available when I need her most and has helped me overcome depression, insomnia and anxiety. In many ways, psychiatry saved my life, and I give her credit for that. I would recommend her to everyone in my life.

Dr. Court is a very caring, and thorough physician. She found things that no one else had even looked for to explain symptoms I was having and has helped correct them. She has supported and encouraged me through her vast experience that there are many treatment options available and that she would stand by me while we found what would help. Just over 1 year down the road and she was absolutely correct she did find the treatments that help me, and I am thriving!

Dr. Court is a incredible clinician. She is culturally competent, listens empathetically and offers practical guidance to learning valuable coping skills and encountering difficult situations with grace. I always recommend her to anyone who is looking for an amazing clinician.

Dr Court is a very caring physician who has been there for my son and our family for over 5 years. She goes above and beyond in making sure that her patients are well taken care of. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Court is an exceptional provider, and a rarity providing quality care, acting as a psychiatrist, therapist, and an advocate. She engages without judgment, truly cares about her patients, and takes the time to see the person as a whole and not just their symptoms. She offers a space to grow and learn, to be heard, cared for, and to feel valued. She listens empathically and gives open and honest feedback while remaining encouraging. She has helped me to understand and process through my life circumstances that have led to feelings of anxiety and depression. She has always met me where I am at in my life and adds the extra nudge when I need it. Having the opportunity to work with Dr. Court has been a true blessing in my life.  And without her support I would be lost.

There is something very wrong about Dr. Courts practice. She took $675 cash from son to treat him, saw him twice and said she cannot take new patients. I sent her email to ask her to speak with me. My son gave her consent to speak with me. She never returned my call. The least she can do now is to return the money.
