Dr. Maria Cole, DO

I have been a patient of Dr. Cole for about 2 years. I recently realized that, as relating to my physical and mental well-being, I am in a far better place than I was even a year ago. This is largely due to Dr. Cole. I have come to realize that we have become “partners” in my healthcare journey. I am in good health, but questions or concerns arise from time to time. Dr. Cole always listens and then takes care of me. She always explains the how and why of everything in language I can understand.

Dr. Cole was my doctor for about 3 years. I always had good experiences, until recently. I hadn’t seen her for about a year & it is night and day from the doctor she used to be. I won’t go into detail about my opinions on how rudely i was treated I will just tell the facts of my experience. As a woman going to see a FEMALE doctor I do not find it appropriate for a male student to be allowed into my appointment without my consent. I was not asked if it was okay, i was just told that he would be there I was given 0 opportunities to reject this very clear uncomfortable situation. If given the opportunity i would have without a doubt rejected. Doctors appointments are stressful enough and to have to start off with a stranger who is also male was not right. I will never go back to her. She isn’t the doctor she was a year ago and it’s sad because she was so kind and attentive. Not sure what changed but it’s very disappointing but i do not recommend her at all!

Horrible experience towards the end. Humiliated me in front of her staff. Loudly said for me to never call or send a message unless she contacted me. In the beginning of my care Dr. Cole was great, great listener, immediately took care of my illnesses. But suddenly, when she decided she no longer wanted to be part of Duly, her demeanor and attitude changed. She was no longer the caring friendly physician. Instead she became short, impatient and dismissive towards me. As I mentioned earlier to the point of humiliating me in front of her staff. I never did returned. Too embarrassed.

Sr Maria coke has always been very thorough in her examinations, a good listener and very responsive when contacting her. She has been helping my entire family for over five years and continues to provide us with excellent care and proactive preventative care. I highly recommend her!

Refuses to order necessary tests. Makes you feel like you're wasting her precious time.

Dr. Cole listens to her patients, and explain the pros and cons of specific treatments or drugs. She is willing to suggest alternatives if you have a concern about something, and can offer an alternative. Her background of working in the emergency room for many years before going into private practice, gives her an added perspective of having seen and dealt with almost every serious injury or problem.

Dr. Cole is very unprofessional and lacks expertise as a physician. She began screaming loudly at me during an exam for no reason. Everyone in the office probably could hear her. Perhaps she was having a bad day, but that does not excuse her rude, disrespectful behavior. She didn't know what she was doing and then behaved in a very petty manner toward me. I would never go to her again and I would not recommend her.
