Dr. Maria Coimbra, MD

With all due respect the Dr or her staff don’t know how to manage her appointments ! They are trying to juggle her MedSpa treatments (Cash Cow part not covered by insurance)with her PCP practice with real patients that need a Dr. They Set up appts totally clueless about how much time she needs per patient. Making patients wait for 1 to 2 to 3 hours, no respect for others time. I’m talking even very ill Elderly patients on their last lap of life looking for hope that the Dr might be able to help. Not once but 3 times each it happened the same, My 93 yr old father sat in her waiting front room for hours being given an appt watching her TV screen with her advertisements and then 120 min wait. Watching no patients being called to the back and only 1 leave with more than 10 in the waiting room. Last appt was at 4pm he arrived earlier they finally called his name, took his vitals and put him in a wait room to be told Dr left for lunch & they didn’t know time of return. Can’t recommend Dr!

So has the most incompetent employees that work there she needs to reported to the state board of Texas and our license should be suspended she says that she cares for her patience but she really don't...

Be prepared to wait 3-5 hours every visit and spend 20 minutes calling to try to get a hold of the office on the phone. The doctor is nice and seems very knowledgeable but they make sure you must clear your entire day just to be seen by the dr. Talk about a stressful experience, not a single magazine or television that isn’t cycling through ads for their med spa. Customer service is obviously not very important here.

Don’t waste your time unless you want to be waiting for HOURS!!! If I could give a negative star I would or even no stars at all. I went to the doctor today 8/9/2021 my appointment according to them was at 4:00. I was in the area and decided to show up early to my appointment. I showed up at 3:30… finished all paperwork by 3:45… several other people came in after me… waiting almost an hour I went to the desk to ask what the problem was (4:30)… they stated that people are being seen as quick as she can … all while she had a waiting room full of people and all her rooms in the back were filled up too. I saw 4 other people that came in after me with no appointment get seen before anyone else in the waiting room … another hour passed (5:45) at this point went back up to the desk to inquire about the wait .. they stated again there are people being seen in the back also. 30 more minutes passed (6:15) got taken to the back got my vitals taken and sat in a room. 45 min pass (7:00) I told the

If I could rate a zero, I would. First of all, I called on the day of my appointment and I was told I wasn't even on their schedule. The girl just told me to go in at noon so I did and I waited for 2-3 hours with people still ahead of me so I told them I was just leaving. That was a ridiculous amount of time to wait. I am never going back not do I recommend it to anyone.

Very upsetting. A doctor takes an oath to help those who are in pain and need medical assistance. My request to be referred to specialist and her response... To: Maria Coimbra RE: cough hurts and no change in feet/knee pain Good afternoon, I have a requested referrals to see specialist for my throat and feet/knee. My throat hurts now from coughing and there is no change in the pain in my feet/knees. I was told by your receptionist that I will need to consult and pay $25/copay for referrals. I don't think I should pay and consult again for the same issue I initially went to go see you for. Please let me know if you will be able to help me. Dear Miss, I believe you are absolutely right. I don't think I'm the right doctor to help you. I encourage you to search for another physician, including a family physician, that is more capable to attend to all your needs. Wait time is horrible. My appointment was for 3:45 we arrived at 2:45 and I'm still waiting to be seen. They need to get there stuff together

She is very know and spoke with me about all my needs! Wait time was a little long, but the service was great! Liked that they had their own lab tech for drawing blood on location and even in Saturdays!

I was the first appointment after lunch at 2:00. I was the only one in the waiting room. She saw me at 4, no one was seen before me. Nurses will not call to get a prior authorization for Lyrica. It’s been 3 days.

Visit was very pleasant,didn't feel rushed. If Dr. will allow us we will be her patients.

Dr. Coimbra is always humble and loving. She has truly embraced me as a patient and listens to my needs. Office staff are friendly and attentive to patient needs. Highly recommended!!!!

Love her she is the first Doctor to actually listen to me about what I was going through. She has helped me so much..... she's the best definitely I would recommend her to family and friends. And I already have... Thank you Dr.Coimbra

A great doctor that believes in the quality of the patients not quantity. Does not leave until everything is explained and all questions are answered.

Dr. Coimbra is very friendly, attentive, takes time to ask questions relating to your symptons and really cares about you and your health. What a patient looks for is a doctor who truly cares and she does. Her staff is also friendly and it was easy to get an appointment. No unnecessary additional appointments are scheduled for you. Prescriptions are called into the pharmacy of your choice. If I could give her 10 stars I would. I highly recommend her to my friends.

I highly recommend Dr. Coimbra. She has professional bed site manners, listens to your needs and attends to your needs in a very attentive manner. Her nurses are awesome!!! I would not change them for the world. Professionalism in all areas.
