Dr. Maria Ciani, MD

Dr. Ciani was amazing! She is incredibly knowledgeable and spent far more time sitting with me and answer questions before my surgery than any other doctor. My surgery and recovery have been better than expected and I absolutely recommend her.

She is excellent at what she does and has great bedside manner. I'm going to have to adapt to another provider now that she is with Kaiser, but definitely a stellar provider.

Dr. Ciani delivered my first child and is the best doctor I have ever been to. She is extremely intelligent and know.eable and is able to relate it to you in a way that you understand. She calmed me dawn more times than I count during my pregnancy. I feel you want a doctor who is still able to make you relaxed and laugh during an uncomfortable pelvic exam she is the doctor for you!!

Dr. C is hands down the most professional and sweetest OB in the area. I hope she gets to deliver my next baby!

After a not-so-great experience with my first child's prenatal and postpartum care, I searched for a new provider that would listen to me and my concerns, but also treat my potential complications with future pregnancies aggressively and appropriately. After searching for some time, I came across Dr. Ciani at Olympia OB-GYN. From the start she was thorough and compassionate, gave me the same statistics and studies that I had researched and truly cared about the best interest of me and my family.

Dr Ciani did my LEEP procedure a few weeks ago and she was awesome! Before my procedure she talked me through everything and made sure I knew what was going to happen. During the procedure I had a fair amount of bleeding and Dr Ciani was able to calmly stop the bleeding before I lost too much blood. I did not even know the severity of it until it was over. A few days after I was having a problem and she was able to get me in to be seen that day! Highly recommend her!

I arrived at the hospital fully dilated and ready to push. I was having terrible pain in my back and wanted to change positioning. I was trying to talk to Dr. C about this and she said "its hard to push when you won't stop talking". No kindness, no empathy, just "push". She also complained about how hard her day was going as I was delivering. Her selfishness resulted in my daughter's birth being shrouded in the sentiment "shut up and push". Thanks Dr. C for ruining the birth of our child!

Detail oriented, confident, young, and in control!! Delivered my last two babies, flawless! Best OB ever!!! A+++
