Brilliant, kind & caring Rheumatologist
I have been a patient of Dr Shiraishi’s now for several years. She is brilliant, kind and compassionate. Unlike many other physicians she takes time to explain and discuss your health with you.She genuinely cares about you and goes above and beyond as your physician.I have been to two other Rheumatologists and feel so fortunate to have found her!

Unfriendly staff and doctor
The doctor and front desk staff were unfriendly and lacked a trauma-informed approach. They didn't ask me to get bloodwork before the first appointment and then seemed shocked I didn't have it and said I'd need to come back after I had it. I asked prior to the first appointment if my husband could talk briefly to the doctor about my needs as I have C-PTSD. The front desk staff refused the request. Staff and doctor voice tone and body language felt superior and harsh.

DO NOT USE this Rhematologist
Complete Runaround in getting an appointment. Requested an appointment. Required a referral. Provided referral. Follow-up call acknowledged receipt of referral. "It is under Review". 2 weeks - follow-up call: "No - you need a referral from a LOACAL Primary Care" This provider does NOT WANT new patients, and doesn't want patients at all.
