Dr. Sacco was the 3rd breast surgeon I interviewed & I decided she was the surgeon for me. She shoots from the hip, is down to earth and was recommended by another survivor who was on staff with Atlantic Health Systems. I am now 7 years a survivor, was fortunate that I only needed lumpectomy and radiation. I find her to be an excellent doctor and have recommended her to several other women who also needed a breast surgeon.

Dr. Sacco is an excellent doctor. She is forthright in both diagnosis and treatment options for her patients. I am the type of person that drives her own care based on all the options available to me and am not afraid to speak up if I prefer a different approach. When we were having a difficult conversation, she said to me that the decision is a partnership between her (the doctor) and the patient (me) and I couldn't agree more. She is a doctor that realizes the best outcome is when an agreement is made by both parties involved. I love a straight shooter and not someone who coddles their patients. She is no nonsense. If one is looking for coddling, look elsewhere. If one wants a professional medical opinion and to know all their options, then she fits that bill. I highly recommend Dr. Sacco. I am certainly extremely satisfied with the joint decision we made!

My daughter finished chemo treatments and is now looking at surgery with Dr. Sacco. Well Dr. Sacco has just cancelled my daughters 3rd appt. which was supposed to be today March 4th and rescheduled for March 27. This is a lift threatening situation and she keeps pushing appts. back!! Time to find a new surgeon!!

Brutal doctor. Had a cyst aspirated yesterday, which was so painful and brutal the way it was done. I had the same procedure done by another doctor the year before and felt nothing. No bedside manners whatsoever. Asked for a pathology report for my gynecologist because she was surprised that she did it without ultrasound (last ultrasound was last year). How did she know it was not cancerous? Was told by her receptionist that she has been doing it for a long time and knows what she saw. REALLY?!

Dr. Sacco saved my life in 2001. After a mammogram, ultra sound, and breast MRI...all which showed nothing, she decided to do a biopsy. I had stage 3 lobular breast cance at the age of 44. I had a double mastectomy as a result and am hale and hearty 18 years down the road. I could not believe there could ever be any negative reviews about her. She does " shoot straight through the hip" which, in turn saved my life. I will be forever grateful for her no nonsense approach. I adore her!

Dr. Sacco, this is a delayed recommendation to all potential patients for breast surgery. The surgery was performed with a short hospital stay and recovery at home. One return visit followed with time to ask questions of Dr. Sacco. Meaning responses followed.. A return visit one year later confirmed that I was free of cancer but follow up with a Rheumatologist.

Poor experience with her. My surgery schedule just prior to her vacation. She didn't see me in recovery, she chose to speak my husband. I had my lumpectomy 9/14/17, I didn't get a post-op appt until 10/4 as she was on vacation. Then when I did her, she missed a post-op 2 inch fluid filled seroma in my arm pit that was diagnosed by my oncologist a day later. It was so large that it had to be drained (I did NOT have Dr Sacco do the procedure).
