Dr. Margaret Maxi, MD

I was referred by my rheumatologist to this clinic. I waited several months before I could get in to see Dr. Maxi and at that point my rash and other skin issues had subsided for the time being (my issues come and go with cold temperatures and it was spring time), but I had many pictures of the issues though. I was advised by my rheumatologist to discuss with a dermatologist these issues. Dr. Maxi was 15 minutes late and when she showed up she seemed very dismissive of my issues and couldn’t tell me what would cause my rash. She stated a lot of “I’m not sure” and “I don’t know”. She said I could come back when I have the issues again. This visit maybe lasted 10 minutes all to be charged a large amount of money and be told to come back later. Overall, I left feeling disappointed and like I was a burden. I cried on my way home because it made me feel so awful. I would not recommend Dr. Maxi.

I was placed with Dr. Maxi because of a situation that needed to be looked at right away. Upon meeting her, I described my symptoms, she listened intently, then looked at what was going on, & explained to me what was happening & why. She answered all my questions & she really put me at ease. My follow up is with my regular Dermatologist, however I would highly recommend Dr. Maxi! A beautiful, kind & helpful Dr., inside & out!

How friendly and relaxed Dr. Maxi was even though she was quite busy. She made time for me and answered my questions.

I have a new plan of action so that is the big positive. The big negative was she was clearly in a hurry to get onto the next patient and wasn’t very thorough with me. Was actually told we only do one issue per appointment, don’t think I’ve ever heard that from a doctor before.

This physician was honest, told me I didn’t need to remove a mole, didn’t try to push me into anything. I would go back to this physician in a heartbeat. Lovely person, great care.

Dr.Maxi was very respectful and friendly and addressed all my concerns.She gave me a thorough exam for skin cancer and gave me prescriptions for my problem skin.I was satisfied with my appointment

Dr. Maxi did a wonderful job of making both my husband and I feel very relaxed about our visit. She was very thorough with the exam and with treatment. Highly recommend her.
