Dr. Marelli Montanez, DO

Dr Montanez was my doctor throughout my first pregnancy. She was nice but every visit lasted less than 5 min, she seemed to always just be ready for the next patient. She couldn't deliver my baby and I did feel kind of sad when she didn't call to check on me or ask about my baby but until I went for my 6-week PP checkup. Staff were nice and it was easy to schedule appointments.

First time seeing her due to my regular Dr retiring. Despite having been up all night delivering FIVE babies she was on time for the appointment and spent ample time answering all our questions. Very impressed with how the initial visit went. Her nurse is equally awesome....made my teenage daughter feel at ease, I think she could sense how nervous and scared she was. Very grateful finding a new Dr after 30 years was so easy!

Her "care" caused a great deal of physical and emotional harm, unnecessary embarrassment within my family. Based on a one-minute diagnosis, which she never reconsidered even after receiving negative test results. She was annoyed when I called her on a Sunday to tell her my condition was getting worse. I asked if I could be seen on Monday, she told me to "tough it out". Monday afternoon I called the office and informed them I was going to the Tx. Womens ER. She never called to check on me when I notified the office and her that I was at TX Women's ER. A real doctor properly diagnosed me, she mis-diagnosed my condition. This so-called 'DO' doctor doesn't care. Seemed to enjoy giving bad news. Stay away.

I love Dr.Montanez! She has been such a wonderful blessing for me and my husband during this pregnancy. She truly cares and allows me to feel comfortable asking many questions and really listens and addresses all of my concerns. I have HG and I can tell you being sick with this pregnancy has been challenging but she has been supportive and with me through this whole proccess. She takes the illness seriously and doesn’t brush off any concerns or issues I may have. I always feel safe around her and she always calls me back promptly if I need her. I tend to be a fearful person with HG and she will tell me. if I absolutely need to take something and if there is risk or not.... I completely trust this woman! Appointments are always on time and she gives the best pap I have ever had! Quick and painless. She is the best OBGYN I have been to and I have seen some of the best in the country. Thank you Dr.Montanez you are the best

Dr. Montana’s is great! I immediately felt at ease on my first visit with her and she is great at explaining things before they are done. Her bedside manner is so amazing and would highly recommend her!! Her office staff is always good at answering questions and responding to my calls and needs

Dr. Montanez is by far the best doctor I’ve ever had. She is incredibly kind, patient with answering and hearing my concerns, and encouraging. Her knowledge, expertise and bedside manner are hard to come by. I highly recommend her!
