Saved my life.
I have been seeing him since 2018. I suffer from severe OCD and anxiety due to severe childhood trauma. I had no idea how to handle life situations and he truly changed my life with his advice and medications. Yes appointments are short and expensive but I’m willing to see him with how much of an impact he has made. I even moved states but still do video calls! He is kind, intelligent and patient!

14 good years of care
Have been seeing Dr Pelucio for about 14 years. Have never had anything but pleasant encounters. The few times I felt that I needed to make care changes we discussed it and came to a good mutual conclusion.

Stay away
Please listen to the negative reviews. This doctor may be willing to try different medications with you if that's what you're looking for, but he will invalidate your concerns and symptoms. He actually told me I have "a lot to be happy for" in my life and started explaining all the ways things could be worse. IF YOU ARE A YOUNG WOMAN WITH TRAUMA WITH MEN, DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR AS HE WILL REMIND YOU OF ALL THE REASONS YOU CANNOT TRUST MEN. I felt suicidal following our meeting. The biggest blunder in my mental health journey so far was the decision to give this doctor a try.

New to the area I was very apprehensive about finding the right therapist for me. Not having insurance made me even more picky about qualifications. I see the reviews & of course just like people, opinions are varied. I can only speak for myself. I have adult ADHD, a severe anxiety disorder & am very introverted. Having finally escaped an deeply psychologically abusive relationship I was not very trusting. Dr P let me just be me. I sat in times at a loss for words because of the pain inside, he was understanding & patient, he didn’t force me into conversation, letting me talk, answering questions when asked. He also understood my financial position & didn’t make me feel “less than.” I highly recommend him if you want a straight forward therapist that doesn’t just simplify your pain but understands the complexities. He is calm & kind and very competent.

After reading the "either love him or hate him" comments on this site, I felt compelled to offer my perspective. All the negative reviews seem to suggest people were looking more for a psychologist than a psychiatrist. As an individual who has struggled with ADHD, depression, and anxiety from an early age, I have seen a range of psychologists, psychiatrist, and neurologists over the past 20+ years. Like every individual, each had their pros and cons as a professional. Some were very parental, while others were more pragmatic. Some came with a wealth of knowledge, while others were strong in their chosen focus. My experience with Dr. Pelucio coincided with my worst episode of depression. I can tell you his strength is his knowledge of what medications are intended to do and the known patient outcomes. He is excellent at navigating the numerous therapies to address underlying neurological issues using a pragmatic approach. I strongly recommend him for your pharmaceutical needs.

This guy treats people like dirt without provocation. He seemed like a decent person the first few times I saw him, but he became increasingly condescending and arrogant over time. Harsh, unkind, and unhelpful. I would recommend self harm over seeking medical help from Dr Pelucio.

Like a fool, I allowed Dr pelusio to treat me for depression. There was no improvement. Apparently, he had no clue about what he is doing. Having not had any success in the past twenty years, I decided to stick it out for the long haul. After four years, no change. Either he is grossly incompetent or just dishonest. Tell your friends and everyone you know to stay away from him and Eastover.

I love having this man as my doctor. He always shows concern. We have brief talks if I have been having issues. He even asks about my pet which I really like. He's always been helpful. He also shows concern about things as well. I truly enjoy having him as my doctor. I feel very comfortable going to him.

horrible bedside manner. Saw this "doctor" a few times for anxiety at $250 a pop. Was having an episode of panic attacks and needed an emergency appointment. He was in the office that day but refused to see me and refused to even get on the phone. Wanted me to make an appointment....this is an emergency and I don't always have the luxury of waiting days for an appointment when I'm in pain and distress. A "doctor" with no compassion. Needless to say I am no longer a patient.

Dr Pelucio did not pay attention to what I said to him during my appointment at all. I felt rushed and like he cared more about getting paid than helping me. I have never been to a shrink who does not require some info ahead of time. Dr Pelucio charges 275$ for 45 minutes and did not have the decency to read my paperwork before our appointment. They did not return my phone call when I called to ask a question. Horrible experience.
