Not in this lifetime. You’ll never see a doctor - only young PAs who seriously don’t know their head from their $$$. It’s churn and burn. If you have more than one issue you’ll have to book another appointment for the other issue.I’d rather go to urgent care at least they have a real doctor on site. Button should be ashamed. I gave them a 1 rating because 0 was not available.

Who is Dr. Button?
In all the years my children have been going there, we have NEVER seen Dr. Button. There is excessive turn over in his PA's so every time we go in, we have to see a new PA and have to explain the history all over again. Very frustrating.

I had seen a nurse practitioner for a new patient appointment when the covid pandemic began. About a month later, I started having possible symptoms of heart problems. They charged me for a telehealth visit then said I needed to be seen in person but had to have a COVID test first. They charged me for an office visit to get my covid test done. Then, they refused to tell me it was negative over the phone. I had to schedule another telehealth appointment to get my results. When I finally got in physically to be seen, I had paid 3 copays. They did an EKG and said I needed to go to the ER for a possible heart attack. This was WEEKs after my initial concerns began. Needless to say, that was the last time I went to their office. Looking back I could see how money greedy they were. I cannot think of any other office that would require a visit copay to get lab results. My new doctor posts them on the patient portal and notifies me by email when they are ready for viewing.

Don't think you'll be seeing a licensed Doctor because you won't. It seems they have a huge staff of NPs and PAs with exorbitant fees that service the vast majority of their patients. When you call for the first appointment, you're simply assigned one of those Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants no matter what the Doctor says in his replies below. Staff, whether front desk, NP or PA, is about as apathetic as I've ever seen. My poor mom had Alzheimer's and cried every single time she had to go there and then cried all the way home. They always managed to make her feel that her Alz made her 'damaged' somehow and seemed to have a country-Podunk attitude about treatment of the disease. Visits to the Doctor's office became the saddest part of the end of her life. If you chat or overhear phone conversations in the waiting room, you're going to hear lots of complaints. Absolutely would NOT recommend. My mom finally did get good care when I switched her provider to one in Pueblo.

Me and my family see Dr. Button and his staff. We have been patients of his for 10 years. Me and my wife have severe medical problems and are treated as family. Sometimes there is a wait but usually that is because they are dealing with an emergency. Dr. Buttons has taken my file on his own time to study my disease and in my opinion saved my life. They have a great staff that I think of as family I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone and everyone. Jeff Rosebrock

Nurses are OK. Button himself is not good due to a small town mentality, lack of feeling or understanding of patient, seems to have an exalted opinion of himself and devalues and insults clients. From my experience, he doesn't have any qualities you might expect from a professional.

I was told that Dr Button was taking new patients. My doctor retired so I called for an appointment. The lady that returned my call (Jamie) was so rude and instead of interviewing my needs she said so what is going on with you. I told her I was ok but needed some direction on my medication. She acted like I was pill shopping and said she would talk to the doctor and call me. That was 3 weeks ago and no one has ever called me back or even returned my second phone call..

Very disappointed ,was suppose to have referral to specialist on Friday it's now Tuesday of next week ..new type 1 diabetic diagnosed. Messed up Perscriptions . Office staff very unprofessional, called several times said they would call when ready , Probably have to go back to ER to get referal and Perscriptions what a waste of an office visit..

Front office staff are very rude. NP's excessively send to specialists for no apparent reason. They need to refresh on their pediatrics. I am taking my child to an actual pediatrician that knows what they are talking about!

Very unprofessional office all around. Staff is rude, regularly make you wait extended times. Providers are rude and accuse patients of pill seeking. They have a high turn over for staff, so you are lucky if you get to see the same person twice which makes continuity of care impossible. Would not recommend, find another Dr's office.

I met Dr. Button while he was doing his residency and he was a very compassionate doctor. However, in the 6 years I was a patient, I NEVER saw Dr. Button. He has a full staff of PAs and NPs who see patients. Even when I was in the hospital, I never saw him. This medical office is great for the sniffles, but if you have any serious medical issues, find another doctor. Because of the physician shortage in Canon City, I now go to Springs.

Best Dr office I have ever been to. Caring staff and they try their best to help me. I know my insurance is my responsibility but the certify my insurance before I get there and call me if something is wrong and the can show me proof of what they are verifying. Dr's listen to my concerns and if I'm not happy with one I can easily see someone else
