Dr. Marc Zaslow, DDS

I had all 4 impacted wisdom teeth extracted, another molar extracted and a bone graft done. Rushed out of the building immediately after waking up from being put to sleep. Dr wrote scripts for pain meds & no antibiotics. I was in excruciating pain the next day, called the doctor & he said it was normal. When the pain was getting worse & worse (took the narcotic pain meds and it didn’t even touch the pain) I had a relative drive me back & forth multiple times. Dr kept saying it was normal and wrote another RX for pain meds. Week later, every single extraction started oozing. I finally just went to an urgent care instead where I was immediately diagnosed with a bad infection. A day after antibiotics, hardly any pain. Please go see another dentist. It is insane that he would remove 5 teeth and place a bone graft without antibiotics.

My 16 year old son went in for wisdom tooth extraction. Doctor Zaslow removed all four teeth on a Friday and by Sunday my son was experiencing excruciating pain in one of the extraction site areas. I called Dr. Zaslow to express my concern, and he blew me off and said that what he was experiencing was normal. I knew that there was something wrong. I then brought my son in on Tuesday morning so that Dr. Zaslow could look at this one specific area. He was condescending, dismissive, and showed no concern or compassion for my son. He barely looked at the area of concern and said it was just the “typical healing process.” Thankfully, I received a second opinion that day from a well-known oral surgeon in the area who immediately diagnosed an infection in my son’s mouth. Because of Dr. Zaslow’s negligent care, my son missed four days of school and I have missed two days of work. I am completely disgusted with Dr. Zaslow and his negligent care.

Day five after a tooth extraction and I’m doing well. I found Dr. Marc Zaslow through a “dental surgeon near me “‘google search and I am so happy that I did. I was highly anxious about having to remove a tooth. I had negative experiences with dental surgeons in the past, treated roughly and left in extreme pain. On my very first visit with Dr. Zaslow he eased my anxiety. On the day of surgery he and his staff were understanding, pleasant and gentle. After surgery, I followed his instructions and had minimal pain and swelling. I highly recommend this dental team! No one is happy about having to remove a tooth but if you do Dr. Marc Zaslow is the doctor to go to! Thank you Dr. Zaslow and thank you to your wonderful staff, Chrissy, Crystal and Jennifer!

Horrible! Only one of my four visits was "on time." Fifteen minute waits (in the chair) twice and today, we set the record. I went for a simple suture removal. I arrived five minutes early. Following their Covid protocol, I called to let them know I had arrived and one of the staff told me to come in. I was screened and taken the the procedure room. I was actually in the chair one minute before my appt. time. The tech said "he will be right with you." Eleven minutes later, I still hadn't been seen. A staff member walked by. I asked her what was the delay and she told me she would ask. Thirty seconds later, she walks by and says "he will be with you in a sec." Seven minutes went by. Nothing! Another tech walks by and I called out to her. She walks in and I say I have been waiting for nearly twenty minutes. Her response was something like "Yeah, so....?" Like what's the big deal? After twenty-five minutes, I headed for the door. And the original tech asks if I "wanted to re-schedule?"

Dr. Zaslow is kind, competent and on time. His office staff is friendly and helpful. I have seen Dr.Zaslow 5 or 6 times and each visit has been a pleasure.

Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Marc Zaslow and the staff at Hunt Valley Oral Surgery. My husband was very worried about his procedure but right from the start the staff was so patient and helpful. His procedure went well and all through his recovery the staff and Dr. Zaslow have been there to answer all his questions and concerns. Highly recommend!

Dr Mark Zaslow is amazing. He is a professional oral surgeon with a very calming personality. I have had two teeth removed by him and I highly recommend him. Minimal time in the chair and minimal discomfort.

Very professional staff, and assistant made me feel at ease, and called the next day to see how I was feeling. Dr Zaslow was very attentive and easy to talk to. Office is very clean and well decorated.

Miserable wisdom teeth experience. Assistant was rushing my son out of the office under anesthesia and arguing with him to “ get over it” .. walked him out the back door so no patients in the waiting room could witness he was in pain. Met Zaslow for all of 3 minutes, and was less than willing to discuss the procedure, We chose zaslow for the price, but 3 months later we get a bill for 4K b/c they billed the wrong insurance.. Now, dealing w/ insurance companies and red tape!

No bedside manner. Overcharged what my insurance paid by several hundred dollars and would not refund the difference. Billing staff horrible and rude. Check your explantion of benefits as I'm guessing I'm not the only one. Beware

He didn't listen when I had a clear and obvious infection and left me in agonizing pain for 3 days longer than I needed to be.
