multiple times staff called in wrong medicine, to wrong wrong pharmacy, and under wrong name and address. staff berated patient for coming in for a flu test with a fever after patient called to make appointment for a flu test and having a fever. told 'we dont do flu and covid here, go to urgent care' Could not send test results on bloodwork, does not email, no online portal, very out dated practices

I was billed for a phone call trying to schedule an in-office visit. Secretary refused to schedule an in-office visit since I was coughing and suggested tele-visit. I refused a tele-visit.BE AWARE - this office fraudulently bills you for a teleconference you never have (both me and my husband were billed $200 for each -they never even called my husband and my husband was not even sick at that time!).After I called my insurance company, they said Doctor billed for the 'tele-visit' with all of 'proper' medical notes - which never happened!!I am appalled by such a blatant fraud. FRAUD and SCAM. Stay away.I do not recommend going to this place. check your medical statements, and often!

I love all the staff and Dr Polimeni. yes he is straight forward and a bit sarcastic but he's a real guy and tells it like it is with no sugar coating. my only complaint would be the long wait times once you're in there. they will get you into a room quickly but you might wait a half an hour before seeing the doctor. overall still worth going there for me.

He's arrogant. He works in the Hackensack system. I had an appointment and all he did was say this to me: "what makes you think I accept (Obamacare)" . I reported that.

Very satisfied with the staff and doctor. Very friendly welcoming and overall a pleasure.

I’ve been a patient there since I was a teenager. But the older I got the more difficult it’s been to get meds refilled. I’ve been without medication for almost a week and they refuse to refill it.and I can’t afford the office visit but they don’t care about that. But, if I get bloodwork done it’ll be a false reading because of the lack of medicine. I’ll probably wind up in the hospital, which I can’t afford the hospital bill either. Don’t go there.

My family loves Dr Polimeni. We’ve all been patients for years. He is thorough, a total professional and takes time to explain everything. His staff is wonderful as well.

I would put a negative star. Staff RUDE every time I was in an exam room could hear staff gossiping about patients. Dr. Talks down to women. Uses foul language. Extremely unprofessional.

I’m not someone who normally leaves reviews but my experience at this practice was so horrific that’s I feel compelled to share. I was unable to come into the office for an appointment to refill my prescription and after denying my request for a telehealth visit, the staff passed the phone around until Dr. Polimeni himself got on the phone and told me and I quote “ Get your a** in my office if you want this prescription refilled, I don’t give a sh** about you, that you have to work or what happens to you” then he abruptly hung up the phone. I was pretty taken aback at having a physician in a professional setting use this kind of profane, aggressive language with me, I was looking for clarity on a situation regarding my medication and was unable to “sneak out of work and come to the office” as the receptionist suggested. Please do not go and see this Doctor, they are only trying to maximize revenues, he genuinely does not care about you, I know because he told me so point blank.

Always thorough and attentive to personal issue. Will attempt to schedule at a moments notice if warranted. The staff is pleasant and accommodating to your visit and ensures that if there is an insurance issue- they will guide to resolve same.

Personal touch healthcare. I feel like I can tell Dr Polimeni any and everything! One of the best of the best.

Excellent Doctor, he takes the time to know you and explain exactly what is wrong in layman terms. He has a great bedside manner.

I have been a patient of Dr. Polimeni's for 30 years. He is a down to earth, caring individual. He always takes the time to carefully explain all details of his findings . I have not hesitated to send family members to him for any medical issues and they have always been 100% pleased. When Dr. Polimeni has referred me to specialists, I have been as comfortable with them as I am with him.

Stay away. There is zero concern for the patient's health, their focus is maximizing revenue. It is a patient factory. My prescription needed to be renewed and they demanded I visit. I made an appointment but I didnt even see the doctor, they sent me to his nurse practitioner and charged me $250. She renewed the prescriptions for a month. Then after the month, again, they demanded another visit. I cannot afford it . So I have been without medication for months now which is very dangerous

Dr. Polimeni is beyond a shadow of a doubt the best doctor that I have ever used. He has a wonderful bedside manor and unlike most doctors these days, will spend as much time with you as you want. He is extremely knowledgeable, very, very thorough and will answer any of your questions in terms that are easy to understand and without talking down to you.

I have been a patient for nearly 30 years and have recommended Dr. Polimeni to relatives, friends and colleagues. He explains conditions and treatments in easy to understand terms, is not quick to prescribe antibiotics and above all he listens. He's a caring man, not just a white coat.
