No Trust Left
Initially, I had a very high opinion of this doctor. He seemed to listen to me and understood my situation and issues. He made sure I knew he would help me in any way that he could do so. However, a couple months down the road, and those assurances turned out to be empty words. I have only had a couple in person visits, the rest of have been MyChart messages, more or less telling me there's nothing he can do. Which is very untrue, but I guess he can't come up with a more colorful explanation. I'm in a serious situation and he knows this, but he is not the same doctor I met initially, and I no longer have any faith in him. He says one thing and does something entirely different. Unless you don't need any real help.....then he's probably fine. But, if you need a physical exam or a medication adjustment, forget it. I honestly don't have faith in ANY medical provider anymore. I would recommend for those without health issues. Those with, go elsewhere.

Dr. Kimball (in my opinion) believe addicts should not have to suffer to get sober. When we met I felt heard in a way I've never felt from a provider previously. I hope other providers can follow in his footsteps. Particularly with ambulatory detox, because that is what allowed me to get some distance from alcohol. Ill forever be grateful to him. Super professional, non judgmental, kind and practical. Only criticism would be something out of his control, ability to be seen again. Unfortunately so many people need help it is now hard to get an appointment and I need one.

Kind, caring, professional
I was a new patient of Dr. Kimball's and couldn't be happier. He listens, he is kind, and provides useful information and choices. I saw the earlier review and was skeptical but honestly couldn't have found a better doc. He was respectful and genuinely interested in me and giving me the best options.

Completely unprofessional
Anytime a visit is scheduled he never is the one to see me. Always puts the in person visits on his nurse practitioners. When issues are trying to be resolved he halfway reads the visit notes and doesn’t quite understand what going on me. So he sends mychart messages that come off completely ignorant. In my opinion he has terrible people skills. I hope for others sake that i just don’t fit with him and others have better results. He is the main reason I went to another practice.

We were looking to find a family doctor, having just moved to the area. It would be difficult to find someone who was a better listener, interested in learning about us and our concerns, and very pleasant in his approach. Also provided excellent explanations of possible treatments, the options available and the pros and cons. He did not push any particular choice, but gave me the information I needed to make my own decisions. My husband and I saw the doctor separately and were both very pleased.
