Beware of Dr. Dean,
Dr. Dean didn’t respond to my urgent concerns regarding my health, during office hours. When left numerous messages with his nurse; who went far and above her duties trying to get those answers I desperately needed. I have never been so let down by a physician! He’d given no instructions for my concerns. The last message, it wouldn’t have taken 3 seconds, for him to say“ this procedure will not last longer than 3 years or it will” he just didn’t care I was in terrible pain, been several times to the ER being catheter,in limbo waiting for his response. It will take 3 months before I can have the vaginal and bladder prolapse surgery!! My second opinion, thankfully my new Gynecologist??says I need a different type of surgery than he described and the Urologist told me he should have handled it! He’s very unsympathetic and extremely unprofessional!! It needed addressed. I was very weary of him and I have ZERO confidence in him PERIOD! The manager was very attentive to my husband and I.

Dr. Dean misdiagnosed me on 3 separate occasions (in office and hospital) in less than a week. Leading to me giving birth at home and my baby only living an hour. I would not recommend him. He does not take time to address your concerns. Just in and out and on to the next person.

I read some of the reports on him before my first appointment and was afraid that he would not listen and might be unfriendly. Not so! Dr. Dean is bright, listens and is willing to look at conservative approaches. He was kind and cheerful, as was his staff. He spent plenty of time - I felt like an equal partner in care decisions as he considered my request for an alternate treatment to surgery, which was his first recommendation. In my estimation, he is excellent and I truly recommend him!
